Well-organized arrival process, which featured clear signage guiding passengers through customs and immigration. The terminal itself was modern and clean, providing plenty of seating, free Wi-Fi, and charging stations to accommodate travelers' needs. Baggage claim was efficient, and the courteous staff ensured a smooth transition from the plane to ground transportation. Additionally, T1 is well-equipped with a variety of amenities, including numerous dining options, an extensive shopping area, major car hire counters, SIM card purchase facilities, and a convenience store right in front of the gate. The bus stop for transfers to Terminals 3 and 4 is conveniently located in front of the terminal, making the transfer process very convenient.
Chill airport. Spacious, efficient and modern.nnHave shower room, but it’s a bit smelly. I guess people just released themselves there instead of going to toilet before taking the shower.nnEfficient process for tax refund. Remember to show your item before check-in your bag. Then you can complete the refund after security check via apps.
Airport is within easy reach of airport central train station. It’s a 20 min train ride to and fro Perth main station so it’s really convenient to get to.nnCheck in was a breeze though be mindful that once you are past security, you’re limited to a couple of eateries - hay market and a Mexican restaurant- loco poco.
Very clean and fast processing checkouts. Once you do your check-in, there are plenty of options for duty- free purchases, money exchange locations, and shops to buy souvenirs.
Terrible airport, very poorly designed.nI landed in terminal 4 and had a connection in terminal 1. Had to wait for 25 minutes for a bus to finally be able to reach terminal 1. Not ideal for short connections.nThen the airport is disgusting. Rubbish left unattended, bathrooms are in need of serious repairs …nWho ever is in charge of the airport needs to travel to other airports outside of Australia to see how things are usually done
