PBA Canning Vale courts are really great, with air conditioning and the biggest setup in Perth, 15 courts in total!nnThe staff are very helpful, always happy to explain why non-marking shoes are so important for the courts.nnThey also have a wide selection of badminton equipment. I went for the weekday social sessions, and the players are all very friendly and nice to play with.nnHighly recommend this place!
Great place to play badminton. Decent booking system and it is easy enough. The court are one of the best exceptions of the lighting on the ceiling. It’s bit too bright. The shop also offers wide range of badminton requirements available for purchase. Overall a solid place to get some games in.
The council really needs to shut this place down for safety reasons. The roof is always leaking, making the floors wet, and it gets super hot in the summer with hardly any ventilation. Plus, the shuttle provided is pretty limited. They also turn off the lights suddenly, leaving everyone in pitch darkness without thinking about the safety of the people there. On top of that, theft happens all the time, and it feels like the management just doesn’t care.
I always love the atmosphere of the place, everyone from different skill levels, they all have fun.nThe flooring is appropriate for playing badminton properly.nBeing a warehouse, temperature can be unpredictable especially during the summer time.nI hope the management can support more on the popularity of badminton by prioritise the players and the coaches needs.nnThe booking system had occurred double booking a few times. Although this is easily solved, it wasted our training time.nnA new badminton place is being planned, I hope it can push improvements through venue competition
I visited here with a group of my friends and we had a good experience the first time. On my first visit they said I could enter. But on my second visit they said I couldn’t enter with the same shoes. When I asked why considering I was allowed in the first time, they said “different staff allow different things” which I don’t understand why considering all the staff there work for the same place. And when my friends entered the same member of staff allowed different people in and made others pay to rent shoes despite everyone wearing the same type of shoe. We don’t mind adhering to a shoe policy but surely the policy should be consistent??? We wont be coming back.
