Persian Chef is a hidden treasure restaurant in Lindfield with a rich taste and wonderfully presented dishes. Huge portions and great atmosphere causal lunches or dinners. They are open all days except for Monday. Very family friendly with room upstairs for parties and celebrations, and a cosy setup downstairs with nice lights and traditional music. Try the combined dishes for two people or more and you will be impressed with the freshness and variety of meats cooked to perfection. Add some entree dips to balance the richness of mains, or try the herb stew with beef for a great sour taste. Highly recommended.
by far this is the best Persian restaurant in Sydney. very tasty and delicious dishes. The kebab skewers are fresh and soft. the price is higher than the other Persian restaurants however it is well worth it, big portions.
Average food compare to other Persian restaurants considering the above average price. Service is ordinary and lots of room for improvement. Tables are sticky because they not cleaned properly. Tables are placed so close to one another that makes you uncomfortable when hearing all the conversations either sides. Despite the expectation of a quiet relaxing background music in a restaurant we either get a very loud up beat music played on a large screen with inappropriate dance music videos or nothing at all that makes the you listen to the conversation in the kitchen. The lighting is not designed for restaurant as its either too bright or too sark when turned off during the day. Parking is also a chore on the street especially for the first timers. We ordered a dish for two around $60 two kebab skewers and rice served in one dish. The rice was more like a steamed rice than proper Persian style, it was also smaller than average for two people. The chicken kebab was good and tasty but the mince kebab did not taste good at all. The skewers are larger size as they are for two. All in all its an over priced experience for what you get. Hope there will be improvements for a better customer experience.
Wide selection of delicious and authentic Persian dishes on offer. Great choice for groups and friendly service. Generous and nicely prepared portions will not leave you feeling hungry. The ghormeh sabzi was a highlight.
The food was good. I have tried 3 other Persian restaurants in Sydney area before, and I will rank this restaurant as 4th among my experience with other restaurants. You will get a great value if you dine with someone else. For example, one of the kebab was 28$ for two, and 21$ for one. The kebab for two both of you get 2 kebab each. Overall good restaurant for couples or family .

very nice food,friendly staff, the che himself came more times to all the tables and asked for feedback. As an iranian i suggest the chenjeh so much Kubideh was also deicious and generous portions. Come here for persian food if u r in Sydney
Food is good with beautiful and subtle flavours. Pity the lack of people and simple decor. Wouldn't come here for a date but still will come back for the food.
Really lovely little restaurant serving authentic Persian grilled meats. Staff very attentive and food was beautifully tender. Finish it off with baklava and tea... just great
