I have often walked past this florist admiring the beautiful creations inside. I have to say however, that the customer experience is vastly different. As soon as I stepped foot inside, it felt like the woman "helping" us was trying to get us out as quickly as possible. She did not smile once, despite being Christmas Eve and when we said the flowers were for a friend in the hospital, she responded with "cheque, savings or credit". I then asked if I could have a bag for the flowers (they were in a jar) to carry them more safely. This request was received with a tone of annoyance and probably the biggest hassle she would face all day... she then pulled out the smallest bag possible, and squashed the flowers inside. I asked if that would damage them, to which she responded "well, you'll need to carry it anyway". There was no goodbye, or Merry Christmas and I left with a feeling of bitter disappointment. In an age where customer service is the pinnacle for any business small or large, this experience fails to meet any standards. I will never shop with them again and recommend that for future, they emplore to employ somebody who at least smiles and is friendly to their customers.
