The food was nice and the service was good. The staff were friendly and even though we didn't have a booking, we were able to get a table when they were busy. I don't often eat fish, but their crumbed whiting was really nice. The bruchetta is worth a try with it's nice flavours. The meals were quite light but we enjoyed them.
Good food and wine. Only a couple of Gluten Free GF options listed but they were excellent. Could have more labelled on the menu as clearly steak can be done GFO. But wow great brûlée and tasty sweet potato fries. Friendly service. Definitely the best restaurant in Whyalla.
We had our daughter’s 21st birthday dinner here and we’re blown away by the service and attention to detail. The highlight of the evening was walking in to see that Kristy had fully decorated the room with balloons, streamers and banners. The table was beautifully set with flowers, tea light candles, and little ‘21’ metallic confetti. What made it more special was that I didn’t ask her to do it. The food was amazing especially the delicious biscof cheese cake the chef made for my daughter. The waitress, Zoe was attentive, friendly and professional. It was a wonderful evening and we will definitely be going there again.
Was quite a bit disappointed after reading the good reviews & after checking the menu on their website. The menu presented in the restaurant was way less than what was on their website - eg no oysters etc. We both had the seafood platter. The presentation of the food was like pub food - all on 1 plate including the salad bowl and the bowl with the sauce. The fish battered was very fatty and the prawns were way undercooked. They did not serve any cocktails on that day - apparently they don't serve them everyday and they had 2 groups having their Christmas Party.
Nice restaurant, a bit pricey but the food was tasty, fresh and nice. Fast and friendly service. Loved the dessert. Creme Brulee with raspberry sorbet was very delicious.
Had my mums 70th bday here...the whole evening was absolutely fabulous...beautiful food, great service. Restaurant manager decorated the dining room beautifully with extra touches that I didn't even ask for. Staff were lovely. So glad we chose Percys restaurant. Thanks for everything guy's. Parking: Easy to park...lots of spaces.
We didn’t stay at this place but we ordered 2 takeout seafood platters at 36 dollars ea and got fish n chips with a cute little salad… so if you only have fish n chips just tell us…and bythe way my grilled fish was like grilled cardboard. Welcome to the seafood frontier and we were both starving from the long drive to this amazingly beautiful town…just you spoiled it for us momentarily
Excellent customer service, nice food and vibe. Good portion for kids meal and very yummy sweet potato spinach bake. Fish portion is small but taste really fresh.
Percy's on Playford is a pleasant restaurant attached to the Alexander Motel. Above average menue at reasonable prices. Pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff
Mocktail was tasty, the meal was ordinary, not the same as previously had. Chicken schnitty was overcooked and veges were on the cooler side of hot. Pleasant evening though. Staff were nice.
