Very spacious rooms, great view, helpful staff. However, the walls are very thin, everything can be heard from the next room. We had to listen to sexual moaning for a bit. Then as if it was not enough they had to go again in the morning. Thank goodness he was really quick.nnGrains restaurant was a real disappointment. The menu is very limited and when asked if they could do something a little different at breakfast, we were told that they could not do an omelet as it would make the staff to busy. The cost of breakfast was ridiculous. Just for scrabble eggs was $16.00. Then for 3 strips of bacon was an extra $12.00. It was nothing special to be paying those prices. On top of that 15% surcharge for a public holiday.nnThe worst part about the restaurant, there was no heating at all. This is the second time that the restaurant was colder than the South Pole. What ever it is they need to get it fixed. The staff are running around all rugged up like they are working on the South Pole. Clearly there is a problem that the management don’t way to fix.nnI expect 3 things when stating at an Accor property.nn1 value for money. With the cost of the grain restaurant there is no value at all.nn2. Friendly staff. The staff are really great.nn3. Location. Very close to everything.
Conveniently located on the Tamar river, this is a wonderful place in Launceston. We loved the generous adjoining rooms, close proximity to the best playground we’ve ever come across, coupled with a wonderful walk along the river. Definitely recommend having the breakfast options as the theme to this hotel is generosity. We will be back
We recently had a driving holiday around Tasmania and stayed at Pepper’s Silo!nWe were lucky enough to have a silo room on the top floor!nThis property is really a something to see, and the rooms are so beautifully done.nThey are well designed for a circular space!nThe view over Launceston from the balcony was really beautiful! We had dinner at the onsite restaurant, the food is spectacular, and the staff here were really fantastic, we chatted with them all at dinner and breakfast and found them to be really interested in our holiday and really proud of their little perfect place in the world.nThe Silo is such a different accommodation, and sadly we only had 1 night here.nBut we will be back, to enjoy this pretty cool place and all that it offers! Remember, people also make the place, and we found it here!!
We recently stayed for 3 nights and it was such a pleasant stay. The room was large, and from the 5th floor we had a beautiful river view. The bed was really comfortable. The staff provided great service and the restaurant had delicious food for dinner. We would definitely stay again.
Came up to Launceston just for the night as we are on holiday from Cairns. We have been staying in Hobart. Lovely accommodation is very clean. Great river view from our room. Highly recommend this hotel.
