I really liked the works pizza. It had plenty of topping and it was very tasty. We also ordered the lasagna and cannelloni. Both dishes were huge but I felt that there was way too much sauce and the ricotta in the cannelloni wasn't of great quality. Overall the meal was pretty good. The service was great and they were very friendly. I'd probably stick to the pizza which was awesome.
I have been ordering meals from here for years, it has always been expensive, but worth it, however over the last 2 months it has gone down hill big time. The garlic bread was the best ever, however last 2 times it was worse than a homebrand garlic bread from a supermarket, just horrible. Also the size of the pizza's appears to be smaller than before. I pm them asking if I just had a couple of bad meals, however they didn't have the decency to reply which tends to suggest they either don't care or they don't want to acknowledge the changes. Its like they have got new owners and have cheapened everything up to make more money. Won't be back which is unfortunate as they used to be the best pizza's in Brisbane.
Order 2 large pizzas coming to $39. Guy at front counter was friendly. The pizza was very average, bases and toppings tasted like they were frozen. I could have gone to pizza hut or dominos and got a better pizza for less. Would not recommend eating there.
I have been going to Pepperoni's for years. Consistent fantastic flavour. Great table service and cleanliness. Ideal seating for a casual night out for a date or a group of four, if a higher number a good idea to call to reserve seating. Otherwise depending where you live they deliver. Whether you are enjoying pizza or pasta in the restaurant or at home - don't forget to order gelati the chocolate gelati is an unmissable delight.
Staff are very friendly, when the pasta came out it was huge! I love good value for money and this is definitely the place if you want bang for your buck. Flavour was very tasty and it was so good I ate it all but its big enough you could take some home for leftovers. It comes with a greek salad on the side it was nice and refreshing. EDIT: I recently came to eat with my friends to show off how big the pasta was and was underwhelmed with what came out as the meal was served on a dinner plate instead of the huge amount I had gotten the first two times i have been. We asked why it was served on a small plate and were told that it was the same size just piled together but it was not the same amount as we could get almost 3 meals out of 1 serving previously. Not worth the amount paid for it if it continues to be downgraded. The plates had "all broken" we were told so Im hoping they do bring it back to normal size as unfortunately we wont be back if thats not the case. Which is a shame being that it tastes so good. We were promised vouchers but I have not recieved mine.
Bought pizza from here 4 years ago. Nothing special then. Saw the latest reviews and thought maybe things have changed. Nope!! This place is so overrated, it is beyond a joke. The meat pizza we got was simply put a farce. The base tasted like it was far from fresh but worst of all is that for a meat pizza, there was very very few toppings. I got the medium pizza and there was only a single slice of pepperoni per slice if that!! Normally crappy pizza shops make up for this by putting more ham on their pizza but not so Pepperoni's. There was not just very very few pepperoni slices on the pizza Ironic given the shop name but even the other toppings like ham and bacon was very sparse!! Hell even Pizza Hut would put more toppings on their pizza then Pepperoni's!! Also got their Risotto which sadly was also nothing to write home about. Wife said it was ok but truly nothing worth the $18 you pay for it. How this shop scores 90% is beyond me. All I can think of is that those who eat pizza from here and think it is amazing have not had real quality pizza's. Won't be going back to Pepperoni's again.
We've found Pepperonis to be a bit hit and miss. The pasta sauce on the pizzas/with the calzone is pretty weak and watery and taste like there's barely anything but plain tomato in it. We tried the Extreme works pizza and while that had plenty of toppings, it was lacking any primary flavour so it fell pretty flat, as did the "Bruce's Bad Boy". The BBQ chicken tasted excellent, as did the ribs we ordered. The Hot Wings 1kg menu option were a good 60% sauce with maybe 8 small pieces of chicken, which doesn't make a lot of sense considering the 12pc hot wings are a dollar cheaper. The Alla Panna with Ravioli had powdered cheese clumped together with the Ravioli like it hadn't been mixed properly, so the first few bites tasted mostly like cheese powder. There was a pile of cardboard rubbish on the floor behind the counter almost stacked up to the counter that the workers were kicking out of the way. After 5 minutes of being first in line, I asked them about my order. The guy in the front asked one of the workers whether the order was ready and was met with a very rude "Check it yourself." It took the guy another 3 minutes out the back to come back with the order. The guy serving me was lovely and didn't seem like his fault at all. Not very impressed.
Staff were disorganised and swearing at each other. Was originally told 20mins until my order would be ready, i showed up a bit after and told it was 5minutes away they looked like they hadnt even started when they panicked and found the order. I stood there listening to them swearing and half an hour later total 50mins for 2 pizza's i got my order almost thrown at me without any apology. Food was nothing special. Whole shop looked old, dirty and disorganised.
Dined in. Great pizza, good price, would recommend. Owner went out of his way to ensure we were served in a timely manner despite the shop being run off their feet with orders.
Amazing food. Decent pricing. Great service from the staff and you can dine-in. Just be aware that the food is quite oily, but honestly it's all part of the Pepperoni's charm.
