I've been looking for my new favorite cafe and I think I found it! Staff had great hospitality and the food came out so fast and was absolutely delicious! I will be coming here every weekend now for my regular coffee and breakfast!
Best cafe by far in Porirua. Eaten here multiple times and always get THE BEST results. Staff super friendly and quick to serve/seat you - ensuring you get ur meals/drinks on time and leave before the ever growing queue that lines up. I'm sure out of towers love this joint to. Food - delicious! Breakfast menu is full with choices and flavors that my kids love. The food cabinet - an array of great selections. I honestly can't fault Peppermill for anything other than trying to get in some days due to always being full. You guys should be proud of the service, hospitality you deliver thank u so much! we are always satisfied and happy whenever we dine in here. Highly recommend.
Lovely place. Staff friendly. Food was delicious and very fast even though they were busy. Coffee was delicious as well. Highly reccomend!Food: 5/5
Well I think I am probably going to end up with frequent flyers for this place 3 times I went last week and the food was delicious every time. The service at the counter was spot on and table service was also pretty awesome. I think with the table service they could probably be a bit more aware and try to upsell a bit more i.e if people are still there after they have finished their meal maybe saying “would you like another drink” or bringing water over to the table as soon as people sit down. Just really small things and obviously not something that would stop me going back to this lovely cafe.
Staff were lovely. Food came out very quick but it was the worst breakfast I've ever ordered from a cafe. The pork belly tasted like it'd been heated up in the microwave with no seasoning. The chips were undercooked and the garlic mushrooms were cold and tasted like plain mushrooms. It also came with a soggy peace of toast. I ordered my mother a lemon yoghurt cake and it was stale. Very disappointing.
I just searched for deli near me that day for work lunch and this cafe popped up. The vibe and food is very similar to the earlier cafe that I used to work Bordeaux Bakery at Thorndon Street. I ordered the petite lemon tart, spinach and feta quiche with a fizz lemonade because it was such a sunny day that day. My husband ordered scone with butter, salmon and potatoes and coffee. The service was smooth, our food came on time and the staff were following all the covid protocols too. Yup would love to go back again for some brunch. Good place, very busy though.
Great coffee, one of the best I've had since I've been in new Zealand. Eggs were cooked perfectly. Reasonable prices, friendly staff but 2 meals came out at a different time to our friends which meant we were finished well before him. Would definitely go back again.Food: 5/5
As always the food was top notch. I gave a 4/5 for the service. Most of the staff were friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately because this place is so popular it was very busy and I found it hard to have a conversation over the noise. With the doors open the wind kept blowing stuff around with signs constantly being blown over and stuff being blown of tables..
Waited 40 minutes for food. Had to get my own knife and fork. Nothing special compared to other local cafes. Full breakfast missing pretty barebones, no mushrooms. Eggs were nice and coffee was good. Staff overall friendly.
Generally, if busy you may be waiting a while for any coffees or hot drinks. Always well in to ones meal by the time coffee arrives. Bright location though can be very noisy when busy. Food always very good. Good choices. If your in no rush and enjoy a busy, bustling cafe, this will fit the bill. Does have its quiet times too, of course.Food: 5/5
