Located within the Pentridge estate, it is a smallish kind of shopping centre which makes it cozy. However what’s so special about this place is that it has the best food, IGA and cinema!nnThere is a section across the cinema that is dedicated to the history of Pentridge prison, and it’s such a fascinating read! Unbelievable how long it took to actually develop this shopping centre from its former form, and that made us appreciate the space even more.
Pendridge Shopping Centre is Fantastic, unbelievable.nFirst three hours is Free Parking, after that there is a minimal fee.nEntrance to the Escalator and Lifts are close to the car Park.nThe Variety of Shops are Great including a Ritchies IGA store with a Continental section.nThere are some really Cool Eateries here and there is a Great Wine Bar and a Magnificent Pub with a massive outdoor area and separate booths also.nThe Shopping Centre is surrounded by the original Pendridge prison Bluestone.nThis place has a Wonderful Ambience.nThere is a Children's playground right outside the Shopping cente, there is also a Florist and the Best Cake shop for miles.nThe Cinema is on the Top level with little Dumplings Chinese Restaurant along with yhe Entrance to the Pendridge Cells and Nostalgia.n5 Stars all Round

I really love this mall because even though it embraces a modern concept, its historical values are still well preserved. Not all parts of the old prison were demolished—some remain intact, standing alongside the contemporary mall environment. This blend creates a unique atmosphere where visitors can enjoy modern comforts while still connecting with the stories of the past.
Love this place. The IGA is the best one I have been to. So many items I have never seen anywhere else. The Mela's patisserie is incredible with some absolutely yum gluten free options. I also got a hair cuts at Classic barbers. just a few minutes wait. The barber did a great job and was super quick. Takomama's for lunch for some tasty Mexican food nPlus there is a bar and if you are inclined you can do the Pentridge prison tour.nPentridge is a one stop day out!
