Very kind people. Plain food and made with good ingredients in house. Beautiful shady seating in mornings. Nice picnic tables so you can seat your mates or family. A caring community cafe. Not pretentious and not gonna impress your fancy brunch crowd but will be a nice place to eat and drink.

Penny Lane do the best Bacon and egg rolls on the Northern Beaches. Buns are always fresh, as is the bacon and egg and the homemade tomato relish is amazing.
Visited here yesterday because of a scheduled renovation work on flooring next door and loved the coffees & the pulled pork sandwich. Lovely staff who is very considerate and caring for the locals. Food was clean and tasty, definitely one of the best cook around! Thank you for your services and kind-heartedness. All the best, regards. -Lee-

After driving through torrential rain with no breakfast I looked for a top rated cafe closed by and saw Penny Lane. After enjoying an A grade top class coffee and some delcious corn fritters with a perfect poached egg and crispy bacon I felt so much better. Friendly top service too! Absolutely recommended!
Friendly service, great in-house made treats and excellent coffee
We had a wonderful experience at this cafe, the coffee is great try the Piccolo! There was 7 of us for Father's day and the owner/staff were very friendly and efficient, all the meals came very quickly and the food was really yummy!! The salads are really fresh and tasty, all kinds of burgers, beef, pork and mushroom all are really good!! I highly recommend this cafe for a coffee or a leisurely lunch with family or friends: Also the Muffins and chocolate brownies are amazing!!
Very good for a quick takeaway Bacon Egg and Coffee. The best BnE Roll I've had in ages. Will definitely be here again, eat in Menu looks good too. Smiling staff, Inside and outside seating available.
Such a gorgeous cafe, great coffe. Really lovely service from owners. Great food all home made even the Banana Bread. My favourite is the home made Crumpets amazing and the really yummy egg and bacon rolls with homemade Chutney in a Sonoma Roll. Kids love the milkshakes and the fresh juices. The Pulled Pork roll for lunch is also extremely good. Very clean.
