Peninsula War Memorial

Stunning views and the construction really impressed me. One of the more important attractions I think we all should appreciate if not for the view , then surely for the very reason it was constructed in the first place. 'We shall remember them'

Beautiful memorial created in a way that people can use the space and also enjoy the stunning landscape. It's always well kept and tidy. Love the trees and garden. It's a quite space to reflect when the town is brimming with tourists.

A peaceful space to let us memorize the war and soldiers died during the war. The building is quite great and the place is quite neat. Take a while to seat on the bench for resting and remembering the lessons from the catastrophe. This is a remarkable landmark of Akaroa.
