At best this place is now average / acceptable. Service was very poor and I had to remind them 3 times about my food. Five years ago this place was great but I think the ownership may have changed? Something has gone wrong and there are probably better options out there.
Beautiful surroundings. Lovely trees and green grass. Birds chirping and views of the river. Very tasty morning tea. Beaut coffee, tea, scones or cakes. We have been before and will be back again. Highly recommended.
Met the lovely doggie Bobby! Such a beautiful cafe to have a tea on a Saturday morning enjoying the river view.
Lovely little venue right on the river, we had the High Tea and it was all fresh and delicious. Wait staff were very friendly and enthusiastic. Very nice place to drop in for a cold drink.
The savoury food was ok and the desserts were not great. Looking around no one really ate their desserts..... Service was not great either. Nice setting by the river and nicely decorated inside but that's about it. I was disappointed.
As always, pretty wonderful. This is an important local asset, operated for many years by a caring and community committed family who provide excellent service in stunning, peaceful, riverside surroundings. Long may it continue...
