Fantastic gym and swimming facilities. Friendly staff. Great views over the sea front. Restaurant with pleasant outside eating area. Food is excellent. Pelican park is a great recreational area with walking and bike tracks along the sea front. Close to High Street and the board walk.

Usually head here for swimming with the kids, pretty decent pools and a good experience. I will say those pools tend to be pretty cold though, usually expect the pools the smaller kiddies swim in to be a fair bit warmer so they can enjoy staying in their for longer periods of time. The parents rooms/showers that I have been in are in need of some attention and a good clean, at least that's what I felt when we have visited. The last one we used didn't seem to have an emergency button either. Aside from some of those issues we do really have a good time here, the staff are always really helpful and it's a good price for casual swimming as well. Which handy for a local place.

I've been taking my daughter here for swimming lessons for over a year and the pools are always clean, never too busy although there are often aerobics classes or kids swimming classes being held which reduces the space available for the public. Most classes seem to finish by 11am and the pools become deserted. Swim instructors are always very friendly and great with the children. Each has their own teaching style so consistency with methods isnt always there but when it come to kids what doesnt work for one (day!) may work for another (day!).

I use swimming pool and it is clean and well maintained. Usually a good number of lanes available for laps.
