I had to express what an amazing Christmas Lunch our family experienced yesterday at Peel Ale House! We were on holiday in Mandurah and I’m glad I thought 3 months ago to look and book somewhere for Christmas Day lunch as only 3 places were actually trading! Peel Ale house only booked 100 placings and it was perfect! The staff were so polite and friendly, and very attentive. The service was fast but not rushed, the food was delicious and it just felt really homely like a Christmas lunch should! The kids enjoyed the Christmas crafts and the Adults enjoyed the free Aperol Spritz! 11/10 for service and food! Thank you for making our Christmas Day special, and we hope you were all able to go home and enjoy the rest of your day with your loved ones too! Oh, and the box of cookies and chocolates that the Lovely Manager handed to us on our departure was just the icing on the Christmas pudding!
Attended Peel Alehouse Thursday night. The meal was excellent, the staff went above and beyond to help all attendees. The only problem and it's a huge one, is that there are no paper menus to read. You now must down load an app to read and order your meal. Also put all your details and credit card details on the app. Almost without exception all the patrons had difficulty with this. Many people who have previously been regular attendees just up and left the premises stating they will not return. Our table had great difficulty trying to use this app. We were all older people, but even the younger groups weren't happy. The staff were excellent in helping deal with all the complaints and made sure we were able to enjoy a meal. But if this system continues, we won't be back again. The obvious solution is to have both your app for those who are happy to and able to use it and normal menus for those older people who find this technology too confronting and difficult to use. If you don't you are going to lose a lot of your once very frequent customers. The 5 star rating I gave you was for a great meal and your very excellent staff who spent the evening helping all the upset patrons.
Hubby got gifted a voucher for Peel Alehouse. We had the Thursday special of a sirloin steak with beer battered onion rings chips and salad, and a garlic bread. Not one bit of it disappointed us. For drinks we ordered a gentleman jacks and a fruit tingle and they too were made to perfection. All up our meal and drinks were $105.50 worth EVERY PENNY!!! not that we paid the voucher did haha The staff were the best! Smiles and very friendly. The venue was lovely and clean. The only thing that wasn't very nice was something Peel Alehouse had NO control over was the flies we were inside but other then that everything was FANTASTIC!! We will be back 100%
Nice atmosphere, lovely place. Staff are busy and very friendly. Highly recommended. We enjoyed our lunch, thumbs up.
Could not think of a better place to eat at in town. The service has been amazing, staff are friendly and accommodating. The new app ordering system had a few bugs, due to the fact that we had a large group of people paying by tab, but the staff sorted out our issues with no hesitation. The food was amazing and well priced also. Kids always have a ball in the playground
We used to eat at the Peel Alehouse almost weekly because the food was great. But over the last year it has gotten worse and worse. They’ve now cut down their menu and the quality of the food was so disappointing. We wanted salad with our meals- not possible, only slaw. We ordered a drink- didn’t come so I had to go and ask for it and it was still wrong. We were trying to eat our meal and a staff member decided that was the perfect time to go and pop a bunch of balloons with a knife while cleaning up a nearby table in the middle of the restaurant. Highly unlikely that we’ll be back again.
Went there there with a group. Food over cooked ordered seafood basket, fish thin and dry and small, scallop tasted funny and was sick after. Wouldn't go again. Very disappointing . they didn't have apple crumble so had to choose another lemon tart which was nice
Visiting halls head first time since being in Australia. Never got to eat here just walked in and sat at a table near the kids playarea and the manager asked me to get up and leave the table because she had a reservation for a couple of weeks. Upon entering she was playing with her laptop and swore. When I said hi she even ignored me at first. So distasteful from the get go. Terrible attitude. I was a potential paying customer. Treat everyone the same.
Peel Alehouse was our local go to for a meal. Not any more. Food is just awful and service not much better. Steaks served with gigantic hand cut chips with grilled cherry tomatoes sitting on top of steak. No longer an option for chips and salad or mash and veg any more. Only salad option is slaw - big deal. Here again today only to use up vouchers given to us last time as a sweetener to get us back. Lift your game Peel Alehouse. You won’t be seeing us again
We would like to thank everyone at The Peel Ale House for looking after us on Saturday during our small event. The food was wonderful and plentiful. The service was spot on. I would highly recommend this Pub. With a special mention to Cheyenne thank you so much.
