Ordered the scotch fillet steak with potatoes and mushroom sauce. Service was friendly and food came out at a good time, the steak was cooked perfectly and potatoes and salad was delicious.

So disappointing. Had family over from Perth and out of all the terrific eateries on High Street Northcote, we unfortunately chose The Peacock. The food was awful and was sent back, the atmosphere was boring, and the manager was rude, arrogant and needs to get another job. Such a shame. Was a great venue year's ago but not now. Do better Peacock! Look around at Melbourne's other food offerings and learn. We won't be returning. Didn't get a chance to take a photo of the 'food'. But these photo's show the attention to detail - NIL. Don't bother.

$30 Parma gets you this many chips. Chicken portion looks like a victim of shrink-flation too. Oily and not a lot of effort put into this meal. Wedges and sauce serving was tiny too. Service and atmosphere however was good

Great local pub. We ordered the Charcuterie board but they had to separate it due to the size of the table we sat on. Great selection of meats, cheeses and pate. The Eggplant chips were great and Chicken Parmigiana was good which could’ve done with a better tasting napolitana sauce.

Looks pricey, but it was reasonably priced menu. Great table service. Definitely worth a visit.
