This comment is a response to a 1 star review left by Ava and Katey. Those reviews have occurred due to Ava's harassment and bullying via text towards Nakyta while she was employed at Paws For Pets. Ava resigned as a casual. By the way, you spelt Nakyta wrong. Well done. Take it to fair work if you're concerned about your contractual arrangements. These comments are extremely unprofessional, mean spirited, false and completely ridiculous. These comments, frankly, are so absurd theyre not even worth addressing. How long were you working there for? I'd like to see how this rant stacks up against comments from the shops regular customers. For anyone even bothering to entertain such a deranged accusation, theres 2 sides to this story. I've known Nakyta for 5 years and have heard nothing but positives from her, as well as the shops regular customers. Kevin has been overwhelmingly supportive of not only Nakyta, but went out of his way to support Ava. Their support has gone above and beyond what would be expected from a business supporting a casual employee. The fact that this personal problem has been posted publicly further validates that it is nothing but an attempt to degrade and undermine Nakyta, Kevin and Paws for Pets, due to a petty dispute which should be handled between Paws for Pets, Ava and Fair Work. Trying to claim someone is toxic, but then ranting on Google about a dedicated, hard working and compassionate person such as Nakyta seems so silly. I'd be suggesting you delete this comment, as I've saved it. Keep in mind future employees may be able to see what you post on Google. Also, getting your friend or whoever the hell Katey is, to try and defame Nakyta and Kevin is completely absurd.
Lovely friendly staff and everything you could possibly want/need for your pet. Great prices and variety as well. They are so helpful and knowledgeable and my dog absolutely loves visiting!
If I could give them negative 1 I would. I heard it was a great local business. However... When I got there and walked in "they have a door bell, so they knew I was there" I wasn't greeted at all. The owner Kevin and the female worker Nikketa made no attempts to help. All I got was Kevin not even looking at me say " Heya you alright" then continued with his conversations. The place is so cluttered very extremely narrow rows. I couldn't find what I was looking for and it took Nikitta 15 mins to actually come and ask me what I was looking for. I said clumping cat litter. Her response was "its over there" and pointed to a bunch of clutter. I then went there still couldn't find what I wanted. I asked her again and she "huffed" and said "What brand because its all over there" I told her. Wee kitty and she stated they didn't have it.didn't offer any alternative to make a sale. I then said what about nibbles treats again "no we don't stock that. And again provided no alternative 2 sales lost. For a small business that's not good. I asked why they didn't stock such popular products, her response was " Ummmmmm not sure" not sure? How can you and be a local competitive business and not stock popular products? So I decided not to purchase my Royal Cannin food there again big $ sales lost. And I decided no to buy a cat brush and a fountain.again 2 big $ sales. Lost again. I was totally dumbfounded about the complete lack of interest in a customer. So I tried 1 more times to strike some interest and asked about cat harness and again she pointed to another cluttered isle and said "somewhere down there" I gave up.also half of the stuff prices are missing. I doubt this "local business" will be around much longer. Very disappointed.
Fantastic staff, especially the young lady that works there just outstanding went above and beyond to help me out. Would recommend Paws for Pets to everyone, I’ll be making this my regular shop!
I bought a goldfish from a lovely sales representative called Nakyta. I couldn't recommend her more highly. Thankyou for assisting me find my new best friend
Such a nice owner, very knowledgeable and polite. Helped take the dog food to the car, thanks again!
I just go in for an occasional kitty cuddle. Staff are always kind and helpful.
