This pie and bakery outlet has a large open layout, which can seat upto 120 patrons, which is clear and seats removed for the pandemic era. There is a large selection of both sweet and savory options, I recommend the blueberry crumble and lemon meringue.
Great pies and sausage rolls. I had a lamb and mint sausage roll and a steak, bacon and cheese pie. They were very delicious but I was so damn hungry I would have eaten just about anything.
Great beef Wellington/sausage roll. Lamb and rosemary pie was good too. Beef and burgundy was ok. Pepper beef could have a bit more pepper. Sauce is 40c each. Otherwise good value for money.
I ordered one of the award pies and was served another one instead. The taste was very average. When I asked afterwards they said they don't make the award pie. She had changed the order without bothering to explain. My wife also ordered a different pie and couldn't finish it because it was disgusting.
Alright but not the best pastry and fillings, bit of a hit and miss. Same with desserts. Be prepared to wait for a loooong time for an average coffee. Would return for the convenience of a quick breakfast.
Plenty of choice in the bakery section. Enjoyed a quick hot coffee while I was there.
Everything we got from here was exceptional. The sausage roll, the curry pie and neenish tarts were all delicious.
