Classic chippie. The burgs are like like Dad makes at home but better. Something I can’t really put my finger on makes these burgers better. Maybe it’s the fresh bun, perfectly cooked patty or fresh veggies?nThe fries taste like they’re cooked in tallow, old school. I couldn’t stop eating them!
It's been ages since I've been here, nothing much has changed. It's still good, providing the old-school milk bar experience. Had a Hamburger with cheese, bacon, cooked onion and special sauce, can of drink for $15.30, so its good value. Cash only, but they have an ATM machine, apparently it has a high fee on it. The burger is a bit greasy, but still good. Standard is lettuce, tomato and raw onion. You can opt for cooked onion and beetroot at no cost. Their peanut butter milkshakes are good too. Tables on the footpath or eat down at the water under Tom Ugly's.
We have been coming to Paul's for years every time we head south of Sydney - it is one of our favourite old school burger joonts. My favourite is the Works burger but the chilli chicken burger is also great. The pineapple drink is pulpy and sweet and not to be missed. This place is also Cash Only so make sure you bring some. Highly recommended!
Simple old school Australian style burgers. Despite the line the burgers are made quickly and efficiently. There is some shaded seating outside. The lot with beef is my go to which is made with really fresh and crispy vegetables. The patty had a nice salty crust. I love how it doesn't feel too oily and greasy. Unlike other similar style burgers, I feel great after eating it particularly when hungry. The chips were also cooked perfectly and were adequately salted.nnThe burger shops is located on quite a busy road so do be careful on leaving. Also cash only though they do have an ATM inside the restaurant. Overall definately try if in the area!
Best Burgers in the Shire. A must try for the 'old fashioned ' best burgers in town. CASH ONLY. ATM in site
