After Queenstown, we just had to have more ice cream at Patagonia so we went to the outlet in Wanaka as well. This is probably our 5th time eating in this outlet. So first off, the serving sizes were smaller then the Queenstown outlet which was disappointing. Taste wise, the sorbets and ice cream were fantastic. Coffee was pretty decent too. Service was friendly and the environment is welcoming. However, I have to call out on the croissants which was really really really small. You can refer to my picture on the size. No camera tricks here. For the price, I could have gotten a croissant double the size elsewhere. I would say it would be better to remove this item altogether from the menu so that customers continue to focus on the chocolates and ice cream they do so well.
Delicious ice cream shop. Pricey but you pay quality. And their cone is so good. You need to try this is a must go. Too bad they are closing so early for summer.
Their hot chocolate was very smooth, with the sophisticated flavours and aroma of the chocolate itself pairing perfectly with the creamy, high quality dairy. The staff members are all friendly and helpful, with one of them even offering to lend us their phone charger when we asked if they know where to get one as our phones were dying. Thank you so much Team for the wonderful experience, and keep up the amazing work!
Well. Stopped off when visiting Wanaka. The chocolates look amazing and the ambience very cool. Went with a coffee and croissant well its probably more of a roll and a latte. Dropped the review when saw what I'm buying. Very average. Coffee has burnt flavour. Croissant is a flakey pastry roll. The jam n butter has or was refrigerated. It doesn't spread it... layers Sad review for what seemed so so promising
Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, coffee was decent, dessert - cheesecake with passion fruit was super sweet and huge. Couldn’t finish it. A lot of varieties of chocolate pralines. Overall good, just to fix some part and would be great.
Couldn’t wait to finish before posting. This place is amazing. Easily the best carrot cake I’ve eaten in my life! The coffee is perfect. Cannot recommend enough.
Gorgeous ice-cream. An wide and interesting selection of flavours. Generous portions. Expensive, but worth it! Friendly service.
Great icecream I had the Patagonia macadamia dark choclate in a cone and it was fantastic. The place could be a bit cleaner but it was very busy so I understand every table having people's left over dishes. The icecream was melting as it was handed to me for that reason I would only get a one scoop so you don't lose half your icecream to melting. Friendly staff :
I have celiac disease. None of the flavors are labeled with allergens. I had the Tramontana, which was simply described as vanilla and caramel. Turns out it has crunchy pieces of wheat cereal in it as well. I got very ill from eating it.
Barista kindly made me a drink not on the menu when I requested and it was delicious! Great selection of chocolates and ice cream too.
