A hidden restaurant in Applecross that pumps great Thai food. Ordered the entrees which was thai fish cakes, Tom yum soup and sate chicken. Wasn’t anything special and presentation was pretty average so didn’t take any photos. Thought this was not a good start. But the Mains the food redeemed itself. The chicken fried rice was probably one of the best Thai fried rice I had in a long time. The duck curry was so tasty and the Thai beef salad more like sliced steak was so tender. That was the standout but all the other main dishes were all tasty. The Masaman curry the sauce is watery but it was pretty tasty. Got to say really tasty food and props to the staff for a great and a memorable night!!
Went to Paste on Friday for an informal dinner - we only had access to an outside table. The very efficient waitress there only one wearing a mask kindly offered us a table inside but we gave it up for a group of elderly customers that came just before us it was only 2 of us. Food came out quite fast and I was surprised how generous the duck serving in the duck salad was enough for 2 salads really. All in all, food was great and came out pretty fast- service was very good - in spite of the cold weather outside- a little thai music on speakers would help the whole place become as original it should be...
What can I say. Time and time again come back to this beautiful, tasty , friendly and amazing food. No matter what dish you try, it’s delicious. Give it a go and you will not be disappointed. The only way to get disappointed is not book, as you may not get it. Keep up the great food and service, will be back again.
Great food with great price and portion size. Service staff was very kind too and definetely deserves to be paid well! All in all, one of my favourite Thai place in Perth.
A local fave. Whole family loves Paste and we come here regularly. Staff are super friendly and very willing to alter dishes for dietary requirements. Please note for coeliac disease there is only a shared fryer so all fried food is contaminated. Favourites include the cashew nut pork belly stirfry and the green curry!!
Lovely flavourful Thai food nicely packaged for takeout. One of the selections was green curry chicken. It was seasoned to perfection. Unfortunately the bulk was tofu instead of chicken. We forgot to tell them the next time we recently ordered again.Food: 3/5
Bit Disappointed. Considering the cost I expected the quantity and quality to be better. Thai green curry barely had any chicken was all sauce. Satay sticks were average and not worth the price. Papaya salad was basically lime juice and chilli flakes not mixed well together. Best thing was the steamed rice and thank god they could do that
Delighted experience. I had fried chicken and chicken fried rice, and both were perfect. Overall, I had a great time at the restaurant, and the atmosphere and service were both great.
Ate here the other day. Food was exceptional, service fantastic. Prices good. I adore Thai food and they know what they are doing. Will definitely be back.
A family favourite Friday night dinner spot. Always fabulous food with friendly staff. Bookings important as it is always busy.
