This is the BEST station. It attaches directly to Westfield and there are all types of shops. You can get a feed, haircut, new suit, new shoes as soon as you step off the train. Something to be cautious of is that the police are ALWAYS waiting at the gates, and they let school children jump the gates, but if you're anyone not in a school uniform, they will detain you for fare dodging. Overall this station is so conveniently placed near anything you could possible need to do.
Centre of many great things. A busy all the time station. Convenient to hop in and out to get to several places in Sydney and beyond.nnGreat service. Staffs near timetable boards offer help to commuters. Awesome management.nnOnce walking out of station, there are shops along the walkway towards Westfield. Love love love it there.nnThank you Parramatta Council and whoever designed the layout of the station and shopping centre. Happy shopping there always!
One of Sydney's major stations that gets very busy along with the bus interchange both are a haven for crimms , junkies & nutcases what riles me though is that Sydney Trains & their transits & coppers just stand about near the barriers & turn a blind eye to the the homeless blocking access on the Western concourse & their sometimes aggressive & nutcase behaviour towards people just going about their business etc
It is a grimey place like Central Station and compressed into a smaller area, so the smell is more concentrated. People behave the same way as they do at Central Station, too. It leads right into the basement level of Westfield and, on the other side, several expensive restaurants plus access to the town square. Catching the trains is the worst.
I want to personally thank Hiral, Jason and Taanne of Parramatta Train Services for going beyond to assist me in searching for my lost property. They were extremely professional and polite.nnThank you team.
