A very modern and stylish space for people to study, research, learn or relax. A well thought out space design for traditional or digital engagement. Whilst it doesn’t have the feel of a 1990’s library, it well and truely facilitates the needs of modern learning, lots of desks and space to accommodate individuals or small groups. Located close to the station, the building is welcoming and clean.
Stylish library with lots of patrons! There are many seats but there are also many visitors so you might have a hard time finding a place to sit comfortably.nnStill, the library is a great place to study, read, relax and pass the time.
The library is modern and well equipped. However, it is not properly maintained. I gave one star only for them to notice the feedback and act upon it.nThings that require attention:n1-Proper ventilation for the place. The current process is not sufficient and it smells really bad at multiple times. Fresh air is a must inside.n2- The cleanliness of tables and chairs is not well maintained.n3- At multiple occasions, homeless and drunk people go inside the library coming from their well known sitting and gathering area next to the library at the Centenary Square Grass Area. They can be obnoxious and were seen to bother people in the library!n4- multiple electrical sockets are not working for a long time! Hence, people cannot charge their laptops and mobile phones.
The new library is really nice. Good architecture. There is plenty of space to sit and read, good events such as baby and rhymes. Bathrooms and parents room available too.
Conveniently located in Parramatta square close to Parramatta station and bus stops. Excellent collection of books and well equipped with a number of useful facilities like computer access, printing, scanning. Very friendly and helpful staff. Recommended to get your library card done for availing services like printing and scanning at minimal applicable rates.
