Stylish library with lots of patrons! There are many seats but there are also many visitors so you might have a hard time finding a place to sit comfortably.nnStill, the library is a great place to study, read, relax and pass the time.
Lots of books to select from, lots of sitting space. Have good activities for kids during the holidays. Can easily spend half a day exploring your favourite category of books. Excellent customer service, always ready to help.
The new library is really nice. Good architecture. There is plenty of space to sit and read, good events such as baby and rhymes. Bathrooms and parents room available too.
The library is very well-equipped and designed. There are seating spots and quiet areas to study you need to be early in to get a spot. Otherwise, you may risk having to be exposed to the section with children’s activities. A wonderful initiative of its own for the community but doesn’t really feel good when you have a deadline and need a quiet area. Quiet areas are on the corridor ends.nnThe ladies at the information desk are very polite and helpful and patient with queries and getting an online membership is possible. Enough plugs for charging. Wonderful views of the green areas outside and nice sun. Clean bathrooms and water fountains.nnSome of the security staff are rude and verbally aggressive older bald gentleman especially. I have had a few encounters that could leave a bit of a negative impact on what could otherwise be a great time at the library. Politeness and basic communication training can be helpful with them when talking to visitors from the community.
Absolutely 5 star modern library in Sydney! Just a short walk from the train station and bus terminal. Plenty of sitting area from Ground to level 1 to level 2. Library is located in Level 1 and level 2 with easy access via lift. Toilets are just outside of the library. Easily spend the entire day here!
