Not impressive. First surgery for under 18yo. Since over 16 not allowed in the room used to wait for surgery and post recovery. Room v small. Not what you expect from a private hospital: better facilities elsewhere. Asked nurse to let me know when my son went in. She didn’t. Had much better experiences at other private and public hospitals. Would not recommend esp for under 18s.
The Doctors & nursing staff are wonderful as are all the other staff, kitchen & cleaning staff are attentive. The stay was made comfortable, rooms are kept clean and has separate heating/cooling controls. Windows are full length allowing natural light in. Has good facilities, kids corner in the waiting lounger rooms with coffee & teas. Vending machine in the corridor. Reception areas are always neat and clean. Visit hours are 10am - 8pm.
Our doctor was good and staff polite and helpful. But the parking situation is terrible!!! Took me 40 minutes to find a spot and with a 2P limit, for patients who live far no point me going home through rush hour, and coming back to pick up my daughter, as we live about 28km away, not to mention fuel costs! and carer having to wait, it means having to move the car and hoping again for luck in finding another spot. The most disgraceful thing, though, is the absence of a patient drop off/pick up bay. Even that at least would have been good to have. It's necessary! If there was one, well I didn't see it no visible signage. Either that, or someone else may have parked there. No patient especially post surgery should have to walk all the way to where the car was parked just because there was nowhere for the carer to safely park closer to the hospital and load passenger. Not ever going to use that hospital again if we had any other choice.
I was only admitted for a day surgery but my experience went swimmingly. I especially wanted to thank Lorita who looked after me. I felt very accommodated, comfortable and safe.
Really lovely and accommodating staff and made me feel super welcome and comfortable. Also offered me a vegan banana smoothie and soy ice cream after I got my wisdom teeth out!!
Very up to date facilities and lovely, caring staff!
Nice staff, very professional..the rooms are a bit dated
