We have made this our new dinner spot used to go to mt view pub but they can’t cook a decent meal anymore, would recommend everyone to try a meal here The steak was perfectly cooked and tender as were all the meals we had. Also child friendly with a play room. Will return in the future thankyou for a great experience.
Last night was very disappointing. I was at a table were one of the ladies I was sitting with got her meal first. Then myself and the two another ladies at my table had to wait even longer for our meals. When the orders finally did come out they were cold, chips were under seasoned, calamari was way to oily to eat and the fish was completely dried out is was like eating a piece of cardboard. By this time the person that got there meal first had finished. I am never one to leave food on my plate. Won’t be coming back anytime soon.
Had a great time at this venue, friendly staff, great food and good entertainment. Country town vibe, if you like that type of feel. Good Aussie pub!Food: 5/5
I don't usually leave reviews, especially bad ones. I use to like coming to parkview for dinner but last night was disappointing. I feel like the management has gone down hill. When a table orders food every meal for that table should come out all together. Every cafe,restaurant and pub should know this. It's a known fact. Last night one lady from my table got hers then by the time ours came out she was done hers. I noticed that this was an issue for alot of people last night. I understand if it's a busy night but it's not acceptable. We should of got an apology for the delay which we didn't. One of the lady's at my table had the fish and it was completely dry. She never leaves food on her plate but she did last night and that's saying something. Another lady at my table ordered the calamari and she couldn't eat it because it was way to oily, no one should be putting that much oil in their body. I hate to say this but we won't be coming back any time soon. My friend parents use to come to parkview all the time, and they're even not going anymore due to the same reason.
Nice dining room and friendly and helpful staff. Food was good pub grub, although the schnitzel burger with no cheese arrived with cheese. The Bahn mi roll was served in a French roll, the crispy pork was soft and rather slimy but tasty. There were no Thai herbs, nor chilli, nor pickled carrot and the alioli was just mayonnaise . Could do better
What a let down! New owners, a bottle of house wine now a minimum of $39. They have lost our business and l am sure a lot of others. Couldn't even get any tomato sauce for my chips. Greed will be the end of them.
