The beer garden is lovely and staff are pretty alright. However I ordered the lamb cutlets with chips and salad and mushroom sauce… everything was fine except the cutlets themselves.nOvercooked and the crumb had this sour taste I had one mouthful and felt gross. My partner ordered a scotch and was happy but was also confused and disgusted when I offered a bite of my meal. Possibly the cutlets were frozen? I’m not sure but I couldn’t finish my meal. No staff came to the table to clear before we left so unfortunately didn’t have the opportunity to bring it up to them. I just counted it as a loss
Good pub for a weekend stay. Comfortable room but balcony rooms are very noisy during a weekend stay. Easy things like rubber door seals would help, which one would think would also help in winter in a climate like Orange's for outdoor facing room doors.
Booked king deluxe room for 3 nights. Room was clean and spacious. The bed was amazing!! The bistro is good and staff are friendly. It's centrally located with parking at the rear. Very good value and definitely recommend staying here.
Very happy to recommend Parkview Hotel. We were fortunate enough to book a King Suite at this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room was extremely clean, great beds and pillows and very nicely decorated. The location was perfect for walking to coffee shops and shopping. This hotel also has a great restaurant which makes it even more convenient.nIt’s also very close to other restaurants with differing cuisines such as Japanese. Indian, Chinese, Korean and Middle East.nThe Regional Information Museum within walking distance is worthy of a visit as it’s very nostalgic and wonderfully presented. Plenty to view here.nWill book here at Parkview again when next we visit Orange.
Best pub food in town - great diverse menu, good steaks and specials, friendly staff. Best steak we've had in years, sirloin lunch special is fantastic value. No wonder the locals go here.
