Thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon tea today. There was a great variety of fresh & delicious sandwiches, wraps and savoury pastries but the scones and sweet treats were the stars of the show. Absolutely amazing! I've not been to the Savoy Park before but I'll be back soon - I was in prime position to see all the lunches being delivered to nearby tables and everything looked so good
What a fantastic hotel. Every aspect, from super service, delicious meals, and a wonderful sense of being welcome, you hit it on the head. I'll call out exceptional service for breakfast, you have wonderful staff. If you want a travelodge don't come here; if you want the best welcome that Ayrshire can give you, squeaky floorboards and all, please book and enjoy this fabulous hotel.
We were there with our family for our 50th anniversary. The food, service, staff and room comfort were all excellent. The DJ was good fun and our family has a great time. We would definitely return. We would like to stay in the summer for a break to get advantage of the lovely garden.Rooms: 4/5
Went there for lunch as always a wonderful experience. Excellent menu and all the staff were attentive polite and friendly. Worth a visit and I have been told that accommodation is good too.Service: 5/5
Had a very good meal, staff were very attentive. Really beautiful interior with plenty of character and history. Great alternative to other popular spots in the area.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Food great. Rooms need a little TLC but overall comfortable. Will def go back.Rooms: 3/5

Michelle and Claire looked after us well, along with other staff members who were all exceptional Food is delicious. Felt very relaxed. Thank you all Rooms: Very clean, tidy and comfortable. Nearby activities: Beach, golf, walks and lots more. Walkability: Short walk to town. Food & drinks: Delicious food. Had salmon dish that was very different and yummy!! Bar staff are well trained and keen to help you try something new Noteworthy details: Function on though don't hear in rooms. Lounge area cosy and comfy.
Where do we start, from the moment we walked in Mary met us with a huge hello, warm smile, and one of the friendliest personalities I have been welcomed with at a hotel! From there Michelle took over with pouring us a pint and make us feel like we were old friends back in town for a local catchup, she definitely puts in the hours and commitment needed for the restaurant and bar to keep running smoothly! She's been with us all weekend from the time we come down for breakfast to eating dinner, absolutely brilliant and the friendliest of people to have working directly with the customers on their rough mornings and relaxing evenings! Scott was also amazing and very helpful, always a warm smile and a my pleasure attitude, even when busy with guest relations, he never let another request unnerve him and help us right away with anything we needed, we decided to stay another night just because of the staff and the hotel itself. The rooms could use a little update but to be honest, the entire hotel is a vibe, from the traditionally decorated rooms to the kitchen being nothing less than phenomenal. The breakfast was one of my favorite things about the stay, besides the staff and water pressure, lol. The Haggis was amazing and the tatty scones were always the first to go and quickly, ha. As for dinner, we had steak and frites, talk about cooked perfectly and seasoned beyond perfection, 10/10 would order another, anytime of the week - hats off to the chef! I really appreciate how the property welcomes their guests, makes them smile on the days they are beaten down with a hangover after a wedding, and always had the best suggestions for food. I could say a lot more but just know when you book here, you are booking into what seems like a family more than a business - which is the best thing about it, I have never been to Ayr nor had a desire to come but we did for a friends wedding, after my experience here, Ayr hasn't seen the last of us and especially me - I have my home away from home now! My partner and I had an enjoyable stay at the the Savoy Park in Ayr. Located within walking distance of Ayr beach, our experience was lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were large and comfortable. Food was also superb and there was plenty of choice and wide range of dishes. Hope to be back!Rooms: 5/5
