It is an excellent facility for commuters. The parking area is spacious, well-organized, and usually has available spots, making it easy to leave your car and hop on a bus. The location is also convenient, with easy access to the Pacific Motorway.nnOverall, it's a great option for those looking for a stress-free commute, avoiding city parking issues while enjoying a smooth public transport experience.
The station is situated at the junction of several main arteries, including the gateway. Cars use the car park to short cut and avoid the crippling traffic on Logan and Miles Platting Roads, but by doing this, they cause significant disruption and delays for commuters trying to exit the car park, it can take 20 minutes to just exit the car park. Also, these cars use an illegal right turn then drive on the wrong side of the road in the car park to compete their short cut. I have seen so many near misses and also some incidents. This is a terrible station for traffic. The platform faces the sun with no protection at peak times, you have to stand in the garden bed to try to avoid the blazing sun. Getting to work on time is not assured, get there as early as possible to evade the traffic, overcrowded buses and regular busway delays.
1st ever time using this and I was pleasantly surprised how easy, convenient and handy it was to get the Gaba. Coming back it was equally as easy. I recommend this to anyone.
