What a wonderful Mother's Day experience I had 2023. Visiting my Son, Daughter in law and Grandson on holiday from UK. I had a very special Mother's Day here at Paradise Country.... Starting the day with Breakfast which was excellent, with so much to eat and enjoying the country feel kitchen/dining it was wonderful. I was then with the family able to view Paradise Country enjoying our visit to all the area's that are offered here. Lots of animals to see, some to touch some to just experience being next to and some from a distance It was amazing and with my little Grandson I enjoyed everything he saw with excitement and awe. Even Shaun the Sheep and the entertainment offered. Also the Train was a joy to sit in a compartment and wave to everyone as we went along the road. I travelled around on my mobility scooter with no difficulty and the disabled parking was helpful in site. At some places I parked at the Pram/buggy area's so I could take a little stroll to see certain attractions with no hassle. Plenty of toilet facilities were available and considering the number of people were kept spotlessly clean. What a wonderful Day I spent. I would recommend this FAMILY day you will not get anything better.
A tiny place, suitable for kids aged 2-8. The elder kids might found bored here A lovely place with Aussie unique animals like Koalas and kangaroos. U can touch kangaroos in the wild area. They are gentle and relax! Kids will love them. We spent around 2 hrs here. A nice walk
This place is recommended especially for families with little children.. Children will love it, including my girl! She loves this place so much.. she is very excited to see and touch koala and kangaroo directly!! There are also some shows with Shaun the Sheep and wildlife team! Great place
Shaun the sheep characters were arguably the best selling point of this place. The animals were scarce, and not so interactive with guests. There are better sanctuaries elsewhere if you want to feed kangaroos, emus etc. We enjoyed our time here, but it's not the best sanctuary.Service: 2/5
There are no better words for this place than Paradise Country. A visit to this beautiful place for animal loving littles and their parents will not disappoint. The Shaun the sheep and friends show was a big hit, as were all the animals. The park and its restaurant were very fairly priced and the food was delicious too. This is not a theme park, so no rides, but you get up close with so many animals. I'd highly recommend a visit to Paradise Country. Noteworthy details: We booked via our RACV membership and saved some $$.
Unfortunately isn’t really that great. The park/venue itself is very clean and tidy and look lovely, staff are very helpful and we’re polite. Animals looked well looked after. Just a bit boring and most other zoo’s offer a lot more. Maybe you guys can think of putting in some more attractions to help boost the place up.
Absolutely fantastic! My 1.5yo absolutely loved it today, we have local passes so will be back many times. Great animal interaction & they are close to viewing spots, they also truly look happy Nearby activities: Right behind wet'n'wild, outback spectacular & topgolf
Interesting for those that haven't witnessed whip cracking, sheep herding, Billy Tea and Damper making. I think it's suited more for kids with a definate Shaun the Sheep theme. Great restaurant and you can sit and dine whilst watching the Marmosets in the enclosure next to the restaurant.
It was a cute place, shows and informative sessions. However, I didn't find it worthwhile to see. The only reason why I visited this, was because it was in my free pass. Otherwise I don't think it's worth the time. As you walk in, it is quite the walk. Particularly if you have going children. If you do, consider bringing a pram. Walkability: Alot of walking
I stayed here with my daughter. It is an amazing place but needs more advertisement. The location is a little confusing as you think google maps is taking you to the wrong location but with advertising you wouldn’t worry so much Staff are amazing, rooms and facilities are clean. Need more smoking areas though. Restaurant food was absolutely delicious. All in all perfect and will definitely go back. Rooms: Lovely comfortable and clean but when there’s no water in the jug to make a cuppa or if you like strong coffee you have to use 2 coffees and there’s only 2 in the room. Someone missing out. So need more coffee in the room. Safety: I think more lighting needs to be around when people have to walk to the bathroom Food & drinks: Absolutely beautiful
