Parabanks is a great shopping centre. Plenty of specialty shops and bargain stores and two big supermarkets. Free parking!

Local shopping centre consisting of about 50 speciality stores plus Coles and Woolworths stores and Big W. Reasonably well maintained, and ideal for weekly shopping.

Been going to this shopping centre for over 40yrs & not a lot has changed. A few years ago they gave it an internal face lift,(like putting lipstick on a pig), & more recently the new Coles store at the expense of precious space. Admittedly the new tiled floor looks nice but the "Radio Rentals" store next to The "Reject Shop" looks like a sad after thought down that forgotten end of town! Now that Harris Scarfe has gone we're expected to suck it up & be happy with 2 goddam Supermarkets, ie Woolies & Coles omg! The new Pharmacy looks & feels like something from the slums of Calcutta.. & the other traders are also looking tired like a worn out sock! Esthetics are bland like a tin of beige paint.. Can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear guys! Hey the good news is I still love this ol' gal, like an old pair of faded jeans, or an old pair of comfy shoes that stink but still feel great.. Haha & yeah Coles going into damage control since Foodland got the go ahead to build on the new Saints Rd (Crn. Saints & Mn. Nth. Rd.)Shopping centre site boasting 17 variety shops, & about damn time too! What, now Parabanks decides to build a new car park when we were screaming for it 25yrs ago?! Yeah right good luck with that one lol🤣

My friend & i are disappointed that Michelle's bakery anymore😢😢😢 we loved their coffee, sandwiches & pastry's. My freind & i met every Mondays be for shopping. We are looking forward to being able to coffee, pastry's & the happy freindly service ( closed late January 2018 & is still not open 😢 )
