I absolutely love coming to PappaRich for lunch. The food is so delicious and I feel is great value for money. The staff have always been very friendly to is while there. I always look forward to come back and can't wait to do so when at Garden City again!Food: 5/5
Was a there on a Monday. The service and food was off form. Service was nonchalant. No kids cutlery and high chair was filthy. Milo and Teh Tarik was decent. But Kopi was horrid. It was salty and very powdery, almost grain-like . Almost like salted caramel in my cup of hot Kopi. It is probably the worst kopi I've ever tasted. Chicken rice, rice was horribly salty. Rice was mushy and overcooked, refer to image. My chicken had some sort of green colouring on it. Totally put off our appetite. Nasi thingy was the most decent dish. But when I got to the center of the chicken, blood was flowing out. They probably didn't temp out the chicken before frying. So the outside was cooked but the flesh near the bone was raw. Rice had patches of salt. Again, not mixed well. Eggplant was done perfectly, but you can't screw up eggplant with a slow cooker. Prawns was flavourful with decent amount of sambal. I hate to give less than 2 stars. But management probably needs some waking up I reckon. I'll be back again and I hope there will be major improvements by then...
This branch of Papparich is in a really good location in Garden City. My experience here was not quite as good as the ones I’ve had at the Wintergarden branch but it was okay. Good distance between tables and the online/tablet ordering system was efficient. Wait time for the food was not long and service was somewhat lacklustre but not too bad.
Was a regular customer but not trying this store for few months. The quality of the food is horrible, chicken was dry and tasteless, dry noodles were overcooked, fried noodles looks like homemade fried noodles i did few days ago. Not a cheap meal, so i expected better experience. The fried noodles taste too salty like salt is free, the quality is way to horrible. No next time. Not recommended too.
So lucky with the 30% off coupon which can be used on the full menul. I have ordered some snacks food like the satay chicken skewers and fired chicken. The toast with the lovely butter and kaya paste is one of my favourite Singapore breakfast. Nearly the taste in there. It comes with wide range of choice in their all day menual, like the singature of curry and roti set, han nan chicken rice, bak kut teh and so on.
I've been to here so many times But this time i don't know what's happening???i ordered this dish before, but this time they gave too less17.5!!!!! I've told to them they said :ya it's correct this dish. OMG,i understand everything price is up ,but they should maintain the quality and quantity By the way first time they gave me the meat Nasi Lemak ,but i ordered Vege one
More like 3.5 stars. Decent food and service. Not too crowded for Sunday lunch. Good value with EatClub discount.
Curry was warm like it was sitting in the kitchen forever. When I got it I asked for them to reheat it. They forget and I ask for my food back. It tasted ok and was basically microwaved. The bread was hard in places. Overall it was meh. That night I got very sick from the food. Kinda not worth it really.
Totally ridiculous to charge $7.90 for powdered coconut and water? I ordered PD05 Coconut paradise which is described as coconut juice with COCONUT FLESH and a mint garnish. When I got it it was just a white drink but I gave it a try because I’ve ordered it before and liked it. After a few sips I stir the straw to figure out where the coconut meat is, realise there’s none and ask a server about it. Server goes we changed the recipe because people were allergic to the coconut flesh so the restaurant decided to start using a coconut powder/coconut jelly blend. She then offered a 10% discount that would be applied when we payed for our bill because the drink was different to what was described on the menu. What really bothered me was the guy at the register when we went to pay. Kyle says “sorry my manager says you can’t get a discount or refund because you didn’t make a complaint at the counter” Had to repeat to him about how the waitress said we could just get the discount at the counter. Then he leaves to chat with other staff about the situation and eventually comes back looking so grumpy and gives us the discount.
My partner and I visited last night. My partner is Malaysian and is always up for Malaysian cuisine so we have been here a few times. It seems that management has changed recently, but we found everything to have improved considerably. Service was more attentive, friendly and accommodating than before, and the food was delicious! My partner commented that it has become much more authentic than before, and that it has the Malaysian flavour. We have noticed that the portion sizes have become smaller however I think it is an improvement because previous large portions left me feeling too full, the current sizes are just right. Keep up the good stuff!
