Very consistent in their food preparation! All dishes are authentic and delicious. In my opinion, they have the best Nasi lemak Bungkus in Melbourne! Friendly and efficient staffs
The food portion is so small that I don’t think it will even fill a small baby’s stomach. This is the smallest take away bowl I’ve seen in Australia. Look at the picture! I understand business is getting difficult! But that’s not the reason that you rob customers! Whoever is planning to eat here please think twice before you go! I wish I had read the reviews before I bought this pigeon’s food. Reply to the owner: If you don’t understand that’s metaphor, read a book please. It may also tell you how to do a genuine business.Thanks.
Best PapaRich I have eaten at. Nasi Lemak was a generous serving and very tasty. I've eaten at several of the restaurants and this surpassed them. Parking: Parking was easy
Have dined here on many occasions but only writing a review today. Had tried a variety of dishes and all have been consistently good. Unlike other Papparich outlets which we have tried, this one’s food is consistent.
Had ordered the same meal on two occasions & I was happy with the standard. Came back for a 3rd time Have Receipt $17.50 on 20/01/23 @ 12:38 & ordered takeaway same meal and was very disappointed. Firstly the contents was just average. Secondly the ingredients was minimal and 'Not Fresh'. This was well below my expectations. Probably the best way to describe it was 'Very Average'. I just wonder if the male person whom I ordered with and who gave me my ordered takeaway had any idea or even cared if it looked RIGHT. Seems that the Chef or the persons who are trusted with keeping a high standard at PappaRich Westfield Doncaster may have a Poor Customer Service attitude that at times, reflect in the food quality and Customer Service inconsistency. Going on my last meal there, I wont be back.
My family ate here recently and were disgusted. We were served by a snarky man named Bill or Will. This was extremely unfortunate because we have had good experiences in other locations. Also there were actual roaches crawling around the storefront!!! Unbelievable! I don’t want insect legs with my curry laksa, do better, manager! If I could give this 0 stars, it would be 0.
As far as I know, there is a common PappaRich menu across all their restaurants: extensive selection of dishes in the menu although somewhat most dishes are repeated throughout the printed menu. Once home became bitterly disappointed with customer service to see that the Beef Wat Tan Hor takeout I ordered to be anything but: "where is the beef slices & furthermore, why does my order not come with the anticipated silky smooth egg gravy" Definitely poor customer service & poor food quality & portion insofar as my Takeout order is concerned. Appearance-wise: the 'hor' rice noodles is lacking in thickness menu indicated 'thick' flat...; portion-wise: very small-size serving & texture-wise: no tantalizing stand out good 'char' smoking goodness WOK HEI aroma. The 'hor' should well be complemented by thick lip- smacking gravy with the ingredients ordered & infused with egg preferably with streaks of egg yolk guaranteed to please my taste buds but disappointingly not so.
Order the curry laksa, eventhough there was not many customers and waited for 20 minutes and went to check and the food is just ready. The staff looked unfriendly and said i should have wait to be called. The worst curry seafood laska I have ever tasted. With 2 praws and hardly any seafood, the curry is blank. Never go back again.
Good and not so good…. The good = roti light fluffy and enjoyable as well as the house made lemon tea. Good flavour and not sweet. Not so good = Fish ball and wonton noodle soup. Wontons tasted strange and the broth had a strong garlic after taste not usually the case with other broths so wouldn’t order that again.
Have no idea why they don’t provide proper cutlery. The quality has dropped signaficantly.
