Very good wood oven Pizza, normal price and good size and amount of ingredients. One thing I noticed is some of the vegetable toppings may not be as warm as the rest of the Pizza itself, probably the oven is too hot that it will cook the dough and cheese before the vegetables or the vegetables are stored in a cold container. However, they taste fine. I personally felt that the special Paolos sauce has anchovies in it which I wasn't expecting Service was very friendly and accommodating. Place was very clean and order takes about 15 mins or so to be ready.
Sitting and enjoying a drink at this lovely restaurant. The smells from the pizza oven are very enticing and gauging by the constant stream of people coming to pick up orders the taste must match the smell!
Delicious pizza and pasta. The extra chilli oil definitely has a kick to it! Italian hot chocolate was thick and rich. Tiramisu was great too. Would definitely recommend.Food: 5/5
Decent food. When we went there ther was no dine in available. So we ordered take out. There's a fair few vegetarian / Vegan options here so good to have that. The portion sizes aren't generous considering the price but are still OK to fill you up. The food wasn't labelled so we were confused in some options which were a bit similar. Taste was still above average. Overall good but not a 5 star experience for us.
Lovely and authentic Italian experience! We had the pasta and the pizza with seafood, both delicious, with perfectly cooked fresh seafood and a lot of flavour! Really recommend this place, service was quick and extremely friendly, thank you Paolo for a great dinner in a beautiful setting.

Nice italian restaurant, located in a privileged spot. We order the pasta and it was ok, from my taste it needed a bit more flavor. Unfortunately it felt like it didn’t have enough salt. The service was good and the presentation of the dish too.
My partner and I went to Paolo's for dinner last night after work and omg! The best decision ever! Obviously we over ordered as usual... Haha but we had the charcuterie board as entree , Frutti di mare seafood pasta and prosciutto pizza as mains. We also ordered couple cocktails.. capriosca and caprinha . Best ones I've ever had. Will be back
Exceptional food… to draw a comparison in Brisbane, it would be Julius, Becofino or Elementi. It is so great for the Bay that this level of Napolitan food is available!
Really cozy atmosphere, the staff are so friendly and helpful, really prompt service too. The food was so good. We had a garlic pizza to start with and it was good, pasta was amazing. The only minor negative is that they don't take bookings, only walk ins, we had to wait a short while for a table. Definitely recommend, can't wait to go back to Hervey Bay to eat here again.
