Story

'Pane e Latte' (bread and milk) is traditionally referred to as the 'basic breakfast' by many older Italians and was usually the previous day's dry bread dunked in milk.

The owner of Pane e Latte, Adelaide cook Matteo Giordano considered this dish the perfect example of how the simplest food can be associated with strong memories. His own 'Pane e Latte' are the foods he ate growing up, many of which were found in his mother's kitchen and the traditional Italian cuisine.

Friendly efficient service, coffee was good, food delicious. Nice interior. A busy cafe for good reason.

Good tasting and healthy Italian styled brunch and meals. Plenty of vegan and vegetarian options with itemised menus that are also meat friendly. Portions are just right and, the pricing is well priced for the taste, creativity, service and appearance of the meals. The venue is incredibly clean and well lighted.

We just shared some delicious pasta with mushroom sauce, part of a parcel delivered earlier today as a birthday gift. The food was beautiful, the guy who delivered it was a pleasure to deal with. Can't wait to actually go and eat there, when isolation is over.
