I recently dined at Pancakes on the Rocks with my family and had a delightful experience. The meal was quite good overall, and the highlight of the visit was undoubtedly their dessert pancakes.nnWe started with savory options, and I particularly enjoyed the chicken and mushroom crepes. The flavors were well-balanced, and the crepes were perfectly cooked. My family tried the seafood and Thai chicken crepes, which were equally satisfying. The portions were generous, and the presentation was appetizing.nnThe only negative I would say wouild be their pizza. Felt like it was an oven baked frozen pizza and definitely not worth the price you pay for it. But considering that its a place for pancakes, its fair that you shouldn't have high expectations for the pizza.nnHowever, the real star of the meal was the dessert pancakes. They were simply outstanding—soft, fluffy, and indulgent, with toppings that were both visually appealing and delicious. These were the perfect way to end our meal, leaving us with full stomachs and happy smiles.nnOverall, Pancakes on the Rocks provided a great dining experience with tasty food and an inviting atmosphere. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a mix of savory and sweet treats!
My exprience in other branches are good and their meat are tender. But this time the stake is completed dry, not juicy at all. Scrabbled egg is dry too. It is like being put in oven for a long time to keep it warm. Not freshly cooked.
We celebrated my mum's 80th here.nWe had the best time.nSuch a busy venue yet the waiters were superb.nWe were a party of 30 and everyone LOVED the food.nWasn't expensive either.nLarge portions.nVery quick in bring our food out.nClean and fun.nI have to say a huge thank you to our waiters, the team were friendly and efficient.nWe are a very large family and we will certainly continue to patronise this top venue.nThe menu is extensive.nAll in all just fantastic and so yummy.
It was an interesting experience. With the new QR ordering it looks like the restaurant is taking advantage and cutting back on staff.nnThe staff there were friendly but flat out trying to do too much with not enough people.nnThe table and chairs we were seated at still had syrup on the edges where sticky hands had grabbed, the table top was clean though. When requested staff were quick to get it cleaned up. Catching their attention was hard though - again due to being flat out.nnDrinks came out and the Chai I ordered came in a cup with faded lipstick smears. Looks like it was good lipstick and the dishwasher couldn't get it off the cup - needed a bit of hand washing. Again the staff was quick to get it replaced.nnIt was a bit disappointing when the food came out that it was staggered. The first kids meal came out about 3-5 minutes before the other orders trickled out.nnOf what we ordered, the pancakes were great, the salads were ok nothing wrong but nothing to write home about, chicken on the salad was very processed not fresh, sweet potato fries were good but I prefer mine salted and the kids nuggets were a hit.nnOverall a very mixed experience.
Very meh. The brisket was over cooked, hash brown was like it was sitting in the hot cabinet for hours and the poached egg was extremely overcooked. Also pretty slow service
