The reviews don’t lie. The food was amazing and serving size generous my dad said this was one of the best meals we had!. We had an Engineers Breakfast and two half shares of the sweet pancakes to share among us four, and were all very full. The staff were friendly, joked and chatted with us for a bit : Also, super love the train setting, clean, polished.. would definitely return if we could! P.S. we finished the two sweet pancakes before we could take a photo!
This place is a must.. Staff are so friendly. Got served by Ben, he introduced him self to myself and husband and my 2 children. Our pancakes were amazing.. I recommend getting half serves as they are very filling.. Great value for money..
We went there on a Saturday arvo and it was not crowded at all. Service was good and the food was yummy. I had “apple and cinnamon pancakes with ice cream” which was excellent. Got the half potion and it filled my belly up quickly. My husband got pancakes with berries which was good as well but I preferred mine.
One of the best places to enjoy some good breakfast and the beautiful view of Kingston. The food is amazing and the staffs are very friendly. The Margate Train is a tourist attraction and shopping area located adjacent to the Channel Highway in Margate. Having food served in this heritage spot is just awesome. If you are here at the right time you can enjoy the beautiful lavender farm just across the road. You should give this place a try for sure.
Place is subtle ,peaceful and a lot more intersting in ways it's train i Just love trains and having a restaurant in it.. too good. The staff is polite and carry a good sense of humour. Coming to food, we reached there at lunch time so the best options were to go with Smoked salmon bagel and chilli beans something like that. I'll do attach photos for that. Coming to food, it was good considering restaurant is on wheels so they don't carry that much options for chicken as I'm more of a chicken guy and not beef/bacon/ham. They have good vegetarian options and sweet options as well. Drinks were Chai LatteOverall, it was a good experience especially with the train as haven't been in for a while. Much check this place out once.. Thanks
Such a nice experience. Food is very nice. Large portions, well presented and the atmosphere is very enjoyable. Staff is very nice and friendly Would recommend 100%
Delicious!!! We got the berries pancakes and the Nutella and strawberry, half portion is more than enough! The Benedicts where also great! The only thing that wasn’t what great were the sausage rolls, but that was okay. Staff 10 points
Cute idea having a restaurant in a train! Nice & cozy with excellent service. The man who served us was friendly, humorous and helpful. Our pancakes were delicious. If we weren’t going back home tomorrow we would go here again. Highly recommend this place!
