I came across some NGV kids activity materials at the Pakenham library, and it just made me so happy. Even without living near the city, kids still get looked after by arts and cultural events. It’s really heartwarming just thinking of it.
Grateful to be a member of the Pakenham Library. So many quiet spots to do a bit of reading. Just went for study after a long time at the library. Absolutely had positive vibes after studying there. So many great spots to study too.
I took my son here so he could learn about what a public library has to offer. They've changed a lot since I was a kid - for the better! This library had a huge open kids section with comfy seating options and a huge array of books. The adult section is also substantial. A JP comes a couple of times during the week if you ever need documents certified. The only qualm I had was that the kids section was quite noisy. I don't know if that's just how it is these days or whether the parents were not teaching kids about the quietness that a library should hold. Regardless, we left with several books to come home and read together.
One of the best Libraries in Victoria. Staff are excellent and well suited for kids. So much to do. Amazing park next door too.
