Beautiful place to stay. The beach is just lovely for swimming or stroling along. The owners are friendly and helpful with great knowledge of the area. Facilities are a bit old and tired but very clean. We had 4 lovely nights there
Spent my last summer in Golden Bay and this was my favorite campground. Amazing hosts /great atmosphere. Very laid back and just absolute awesome. love the showers and kitchen. Beautiful beach to wake up to. Easy to explore Fairwell Spit / Whanaki Beach / Great walks/get the kayak out. I will be back. Marina
I love this camp! Gary and Gaye are fantastic and so is Lois. The view is awe inspiring and the camp clean and tidy - a credit to their hard work. Thankyou team for always making my stays a welcome and reinvigorated experience.
The hosts are lovely, and the prices are more than reasonable, both for accommodation and in the shop that has a good range of products. Compared with other places in the South Island, and considering the location and distances involved, I’m blown away by how cheap my stay is.
Great place to visit, will have to drive to Collingwood to get a decently priced dinner. Ground was a little well worn, but overall a really well organised campsiteRooms: 4/5

Loved it! Rain, high winds and sunshine but little Freddie dog and I loved every minute for 5 days. Top hosts too!
What a lovely campground. One of the best wee spots we have come across. Have stayed here 2 nights so far and will very likely stay another night tomorrow as well. Great location for exploring the top end of Golden Bay. Very welcoming hosts, great sites for small and large vehicles, and peaceful bay. I can thoroughly recommend this camp ground if you are heading this way!
Stunning setting... quiet, with wonderful views of the sea and a gently shelving sandy beach which made for safe swimming. Though the facilities were somewhat tired, they were kept spotlessly clean. The manager was friendly and helpful, and much to my surprise, the products in the shop were very reasonably priced. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.
Old school camping ground. Bach was basic but right on the beach & adequate. Conveniently close to clean toilets. Shower block was clean & delicious hot water with great pressure. Well stocked and reasonable priced store. Lovely, friendly camp managers.
