Paddy’s Markets in Haymarket Sydney, has been a wonderful Sydney Institution for what seems like Forever !!nnI remember coming here as a young child and being awestruck by the Sights, Sounds and Smells !!nnIt’s now been Gentrified Somewhat and Much less Gritty than it once was.nnThere is just So much to see and do here.nnPaddy’s Still offers Fresh Fruit, Veg, Meats, Seafood, Flowers, Nuts, Sweets etc.nnAlso has Artisan Baked Goods, Small Goods and various dining options.nnThere are hundreds of Stalls. Selling everything from Fashion to Electronics and everything in between.nnPaddy’s has a Fabulous Vibe and I look forward to my next visit.

To be true, not what I remember of how Paddy's Markets ground floor look like. Gone were the old ragged style stalls. The stores are nice and tidy now. With the additional of the food area made it welcoming.

Located at 9/13 Hay Street, Haymarket, New South Wales, Australia nThese markets are probably Sydney’s most iconic. They are undergoing a transformation. It’s turning into a great Food and Beverage hub that has a great selection of food hawker style stalls to choose from. This is known as Hay St Market and is open 7 days. You still have the market stalls selling everything from tourist souvenirs, novelty costumes, sunglasses, clothing, leather goods and so much more. I feel it’s not a place to go to if you want good quality products or arts and crafts but you might find something that interests you. There’s also a fresh produce section and fish  market. Above the markets is Market City Shopping Centre and the Asian Food Court. It’s definitely worth a visit and so easy to get to with the light rail just outside. Thumbs up!

The ground floor has a food court with restaurants featuring different international styles. Inside the market, you can find fresh produce, souvenir stalls, and various small shops. Upstairs, there’s also a supermarket and a food court.nnMost of the souvenirs are made in China and sold at very cheap prices. However, food items here tend to be more expensive compared to other supermarkets.
