I visited this market 10 years ago, and today marked my third visit. Unfortunately, it hasn’t changed much and feels like just another market you can find anywhere in Sydney. These days, markets don’t seem to offer much in the way of new or unique experiences. This one is no exception, with most stalls selling jewelry, clothing, and similar items. It’s a nice place to visit if you’re a tourist or if the weather is great, but it doesn’t feel special enough to be worth visiting every week.
We went to Bondi and The Rocks markets and this was by far the BEST! Lots of stalls, be it food or crafts/ local artists. If you have time for one market, I would recommend this.
A vibrant market with a good variety of stalls from clothing to fresh produce and easy to get around. Many places to eat. Restrooms are available and wheelchair accessible.
There are many different productsnThe food area and clothing and accessories area are separated, making it easy to browse
Some nice wares, candles, woodwork, jewellery etc. Nice for tourists. We visited for the first time in 20 yrs and it seemed smaller. Parking as usual was a challenge but we were there in peak time of 11am on Sat. Managed to find a park on back street within 5 minutes walk. Some food stalls there and public toilets in Public School. Store keepers pretty friendly.
