I wanted some A3 colour printing done so on the suggestion of my partner I went to the Paddington Library. What a hidden treasure - staff were very friendly and helpful, A3 colour printing was of good quality and less than $ 2 per page. Tech was up to date and easy to use. Fabulous community asset.

Expensive to do photocopies here and limited wi fi and range of books. Staff nice and helpful

The other day I went to the library (about a week after it was renovated) and I had to print something for my school that was due the next day. So I got to the printer and asked the lady if she could show me how to print. She was really moody and was swearing. She had no idea how to print. I think if you work there you should at least know how to do stuff around there. BTW she wasn't even new, she was there before. She tried and tried to do it. She started swearing softly, but i could hear, and im 11 years old.She treated me wrong as a customer, and even if i wasn't a customer you should never treat someone like that. Other than that, they have great books and amazing activities like story time.

I was in Sydney to look after my grandchildren. My little grandson was at preschool but caught a virus and I cared for him until he recovered. As he was unable to go to preschool on the Friday I looked up the Paddington library and found that they have Story time at 10.30 so we went there in time for it to start. Rocky loved the story (about a magic bath) and enthusiastically participated in the craft activity afterwards. We then enrolled him in the library and borrowed 3 books and a DVD. The staff were incredibly kind and understanding. Rocky was born in Dubai and had only been in Australia for 2 weeks, and was undergoing a big transitional phase from one country to another. I am so grateful for their kindness in helping a little boy to find somewhere nice to go where he could read books and enjoy himself. Thank you. Margaret Meyer Melbourne 3122
