Waiting time for food is rather long during dinner hours, but pasta is authentic and service is on-par with other restaurants. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the vicinity, with both indoor and al fresco dining. Price point is on the steep side but value for money. Be sure to make reservations to avoid disappointment.
Excellent service by the serving staff, very prompt and helpful. We had the the Chargrilled Octopus as Entree, Spaghetti Meatballs and Sweet Potato Gnocchi. The Chargrilled Octopus was lovely and soft with a slight crunch. It was serviced with a tomato sauce and rocket and lime. Over all it was quite nice but lacking a punch to it. I had the Spaghetti Meatballs over the lobster ravioli which looked quite small in portion size. The Meatballs were massive served with tomato and garlic sauce with Spaghetti. The portion size was quite large as you can see in the photos and so were the Meatballs however I think a little bit more herbs and flavour in the Meatballs would have enhanced the dish. My partner had the sweet potato gnocchi. The gnocchi was soft and delicious, serves in a scrumptious tomato and cheese sauce. The sauce was packed with beautiful flavours which balanced out the gnocchi quite well. Overall, we really enjoyed out meals at Pacino's, the atmosphere was lovely, food was delicious however lacking the wow factor.
Probably the best Italian in rockhampton. Reliable and friendly service. Willing to try and fit me in at late notice - staff are genuinely keen and represent the business well. Wine list also decent for a regional offering.
You have to book early its always packed we went on a thursday arfternoon around 6ish an it was already busy ,food was delicious an served with a smile i had crumbed brains for entr'ee an for main spaggetti marinara an couldnt fault either nice staff an price was righy only fault was it was a loud atmosphereFood: 5/5
Had a great time at Pacino's! Food was fantastic we had lobster ravioli, atmosphere was nice. The staff were friendly but maybe a tad too impatient though it was a busy night. Overall, highly recommend.Food: 5/5
Still one of the best places in Rockhampton for date night It can get quite busy. I would recommend booking the table. And wait patiently with wine food are die for. Just order a few more glasses of wine you will be okayFood: 5/5
We shared a margarita pizza and the sweet potato gnocchi. Wow that was delicious. Italian certified. Very happy and satisfying. Great staff also.
Great Italian restaurant perched alongside the river in Rockhampton. Well worth a stop if you are passing through. Meal sizes are huge, so come here hungry!! I had the lobster ravioli - yum!Food: 5/5
The food was so good, we decided to go back the next night. The experience was great on both occasions, as the quality of food and service was above par on both nights. Very enjoyable and fresh, everything was made and presented extremely well. Portions were generous and the flavors were definitely authentic Italian. Very enjoyable and would recommend a visit.
The staff were friendly and attentive even though it was so busy. The chefs truely show dedication in there cooking. 6 main meals were ordered plus 2 entrees and they didn't take too long to be served. All meal were very filling and the flavours and aromas were awesome. I had the calamari for entree and that was amazing, never had such good calamari. The sweet potato gnocchi was also extremely delicious. Totally worth having dinner at Pacino's.
