Booked 2 rooms.. Absolutely discussing.. dirty towels on the back of bathroom door. Foot marks in shower hair on basin. Air con didn't work in one room. When booking was not told the pool was green. I had 3 teenagers with me. My daughter lifted her pillow and found bugs. The smell of vomit in hallway was absolutely discussing. Finished my engagement at 11.30 to return to motel. The smell was so bad we returned to home at 1am. 3 hours away. When ringing to complain was spoken to like it didn't matter. I work hard for my money and for nearly $500. Don't stay
We are very appreciative of Darlene, the incredible and compassionate lady who is in charge and did everything possible to guarantee my family and I had an enjoyable and comfortable visit. Thank you, Darlene. I will always be personally thankful for your assistance when I truly needed it.You truly are a one of a kind..very thankful I got to meet you...Additionally, a big thank you to all of Darlene's staff, particularly Ray and Kai, whom I personally felt the most at ease with. Kai also provides the greatest room service and is simply a delightful person to be around.
Room was clean, sign reads to leave room tidy or fee applies. Wash own dishes bit no detergent cloth or tea towel provided. Is this within health regulations? No plates or cutlery only little sticks for drinks. Bit toaster and kettle. Every time anyone closed a door it echoed through the walls. Fridge had last persons food left. Bathroom bin had something gross, left that I definitely didn't touch. Worked out the TV eventually. Price was over the top for service. Even though it was winter pool was drained chemical containers left out. Not safe. It would have been nice to sit near the pool in the morning but chose not to. Reception people ok but Dahlia went out of her way to book my taxi. Thank you.
Average hotel rooms, old ,clean. Friendly staff but lack in people skills and service. Over priced for what it is. Make sure you have personal things hidden as manager takes it upon herself to enter rooms and go through belongings and open things she has no right too. Total breach of privacy. The location couldn't be better. Everything is within walking distance. They have rooms with disabled showers. Toaster, kettle, tea and coffee etc. And a small bar fridge. Woolworths, Coles, doctors etc across the road as well as eat-in or take-away shops. You can take an evening stroll at Raby Bay waterfront or eat at the many lovely seaside restaurants. Location, location location. Unfortunately i would never recommend or stay here again. A lot of yelling and swearing from homeless people and reception allows pot smoking for some and turns and bends rules for others to what suits her at the time. Also talks about guests with other guests and I know this first hand from experiencing it with her. A very false sense of security.
Great location, but unfortunately very very dated. The room had damaged walls with shoddy repairs. The room also smelt terrible with no amount of deodorising helping ie carpet. The overall condition and presentation of the room was average and definitely not worth the $265 a night they charged.nThis motel has such great potential but it has not been maintained.
