This hostel is by far the best I’ve ever stayed at. The building and interior is beautiful. I love that the beds have curtains, which gives you privacy in the shared dorms. The cleanliness of the bathrooms are really good too. It’s a very social hostel, but still quiet and respectful. Everyday they have minimum 2 free activities, where you meet other travellers and easily make friends. Would highly recommend staying at Pacific House!! 10/10
Amazing hostel! Super clean, with a great vibe and the friendliest staff. Loved the free daily activities – perfect for meeting people. The location is ideal, close to everything. Can’t recommend it enough.
Loved staying at this hostel! We booked a private room with a shared bathroom, which was perfect for us. The room was super clean and comfy. Bed was great. Only thing is we had the window open most of the night to let some air in did have air con though, and I got eaten alive by mosquitoes as no screens. Staff were friendly, we didn’t wake up early enough to have the free breakfast but appreciate that it was on offer. Location is excellent - a short walk into the city. Ultimately, this is an expensive hostel, but hey, it’s Sydney. Had really good vibes overall, with some cute common areas and lots of people milling about. Bathrooms were also newly renovated and clean. Recommend. :
A nice hostel for a short stay. Very clean and plenty of facilities. The kitchen is quite small but during certain hours not too busy. Generally the staff are helpful, most live in the hostel too. There’s a communal working space and veranda. Attached to the hostel is a small restaurant. It’s not too well connected with public transport but around a 15/20 minute walk to the nearest train station. Close by to the royal botanical gardens and art gallery.
It’s a beautiful hostel. A little bit expensive but it definitely felt homey. It could be a little bit more social. When you arrive you feel like most people are already in a group but I found my people. The guests are mostly french and german. The kitchen is exactly what you would expect from a hostel kitchen: busy around 8/9pm and some people wash their dishes more thoroughly than others. There’s a free breakfast until 09:30am which consists of cereal or toast with a choice of spreads. The toilets and showers are nice and clean. Overall a great experience!
