Excellent location and overall a great hostel experience.nThere weren’t always enough bathrooms on each floor, however they were always clean and the showers had good water pressure.nThe key system through your phone app was very useful as I didn’t have to carry a key card around.nThe layout in my room wasn’t really well thought through however, since some of the under bed storage wasn’t accessible since it was too close to the other bed or the wall.nSocials were very good and we had a great time at the quiz night. Also, free brekkies are amazing!nThanks a lot for having me!
It’s a beautiful hostel. A little bit expensive but it definitely felt homey. It could be a little bit more social. When you arrive you feel like most people are already in a group but I found my people. The guests are mostly french and german. The kitchen is exactly what you would expect from a hostel kitchen: busy around 8/9pm and some people wash their dishes more thoroughly than others. There’s a free breakfast until 09:30am which consists of cereal or toast with a choice of spreads. The toilets and showers are nice and clean. Overall a great experience!
An amazing hostel! The rooms were spacious, clean and everyone had lots of privacy with curtains around their beds. The bathrooms were also good and clean. The staff were always happy to help and very kind! And to top it all off, the free breakfast was great!
Best hostel I have ever been to so far, and very well located. They organize activities almost every day, so there’s always an opportunity to meet new people. During my stay, everyone was very friendly, including the staff. The bathrooms, showers, and kitchen were cleaned frequently, and the fact that the beds have curtains was great for maintaining privacy.nDefinitely would stay here again!! :
Pacific House was my first time staying in a hostel. I came down for the Coldplay concert and cancelled my stay at another hotel in Sydney Olympic Park to stay here instead.nnThe location of this hostel is perfect. The whole of Sydney is really right at your doorstep with the Opera House, Circular Quay, Hyde Park and St James train station being no more than a ten minute walk away.nnThe hostel is a pleasant older style building with great views of the city. The staff are helpful and friendly. They run social events every night and I made several new friends in my 2 night stay.nnI will stay here every time I come to Sydney, and can’t wait for my next adventure with Pacific House.
