Funny thing about dining at this place. We had dinner and quite satisfying and noticed no dessert. Ok, so we planned to go elsewhere. About to leave and then my wife sees a dessert dish going out to another table. ?. She then asks, do you have dessert, to a waitress? Yes, I'll get you the dessert menu. We've never been down sold a new word in English and the restaurant business in any restaurant before. Food was good, not exceptional, but a bit pricey. Maybe higher prices because of the suburb. Comparing to Newmarket of course.
Absolutely delicious. We didn't know this place was here. Found out via Groupon and purchased an $80 food voucher for $40. Bargain. Took the kids and ordered the Enchilada, Burrito, Chilli Con Carne, Sizzling Fajitas and Jalapeno Poppers and everyone was satisfied. Been twice in two weeks now.
Big Mexican restaurant in the burb. Food is tasty. Lots of waitress but they forgot to serve our entree until after mains. Serving is not large for the price.
So good, the best Mexican in Clayfield/Nundah area! The food is amazing, the staff is lovely and very helpful, absolutely loved it! Chicken enchiladas and churros are my favourites :
Save yourself the hassle and go to Pepe's Newmarket instead. Better portions, better quality, better prices, better food! We thought we'd try something new and were thoroughly disappointed in the quality of the meals. I wouldn't really recommend this place to anyone but would more so encourage them to go elsewhere for their Mexican culinary desires. Edit: The response below is a flatout lie, I have a receipt from delivery.
Great place to have a decent Mexican food. Loved the restaurant set-up and Enchiladas were awesome!
YUM! Tasty and filling, without the greasy after-taste you sometimes get with Mexican dinner. The place has Really friendly staff and enjoyable decor, which is combined with a varied but not overdone menu that has something for everyone. Reasonable drinks menu options too, including unlimited sparkling water for a small fee. Great value. Absolutely worth a visit!
Have eaten in house once and had take away several times. The food is always delicious and the portions are very generous. Also one of the best margaritas I’ve had and I’ve tried a few. The service is always friendly and when I dined in the Then place itself has a great vibe.
We enjoyed our meal. The beef was a little bland in my opinion but the pork was nice. We sat under a downlight above a fan which unfortunately caused a strobe effect but the fan was needed! Service was fine and pricing seemed fair.
I don't know where all these good reviews are coming from. I got the shredded beef enchilada. The entire plate of food was cold. The salad taco bowl was raw. The Mexican rice - uncle Ben's microwave rice for 1$ a packet from woolies. I heard them microwave it too. But it was also cold. The meat was cold. The outside of the enchilada looked cooked but was made possibly at lunch time. The beans were cold. For 23$ it was a dish I could see a 13 year old making.
