Clean up your act guys. This place in an exclusive area at Fox Studios and it is one of the worst places with regards to hygiene. The rails leading up to the toilet needs repainting, floor boards needing rebuffing polishing. Staff are nice but seriously.... a total disgrace.
If you can go elsewhere, go. Standing room only, running out of table numbers, over an hour wait for food - after being told it'd be 30 minutes. Tables not cleaned- like at all! Staff are rude, slamming table numbers down, they admit they forgot my friends order. Like how is their place still in business? The food is mediocre- at best. Will never return.
The Guiness pie was pretty good . Not very many people inside but a few loud drunks .
Not my type of food although to can see why people like it. The pie I had was very meaty and winey
I’ve made the mistake of paying $25 for this here burger. I won’t make the same mistake again. Not pictured: the Kraft Single stuck to the upper bun.

Fairly expensive and always has very long queues due to few staff being on it seems. Good pub with good atmosphere especially before and after sporting occasions or gigs at the horden pavilion.
At first, we had a really bad experience with one of the employees spilling a drink all over my light grey suede jacket while cleaning our table in the end we even had to finish cleaning up the table because of the spill. But management came up to us to ask what happened, apologised and gave us two free drinks to make up for it. While service may be slow and not that great, the management team definitely makes up for it! Thanks to them stepping up to fix the situation, we were able to have a great afternoon here. Plus, the food is incredible! Especially the burger and the pork belly.
Nothing fancy, decor was definitely a little tired. Tables and chairs scattered about the place, nothing lined up strait or arranged in a way that made it easy to locate and move towards a table. Has a feeling like no one really cares for the interior or how the place looks despite some historical decorating to the contrary. There was a picture of male genitals scratched into the table where we ate. Food was acceptable, but nothing outstanding. Pretty sure I forgot what the schnitzel tasted like seconds after I finished it. Should we end up in the area again I'll proactively look for elsewhere else to eat, purely due to the lack of impression it left, tired environment, and TVs/TAB machines ruining what little atmosphere remained. Nevertheless, there was a live music guitarist singing and playing as we left, which was lovely and definitely might have made the experience more enjoyable were they playing when we arrived.
