Absolutely impressed with the product and service this company has given us from start to finish. From techs & sales to reception staff always responsive to our needs. The other thing is the system we installed for a 3 bedroom house & granny flat in our property is working well and we are glad to do our part to treat our water/waste wisely and do our part in keeping our little corner of the world a little greener. I would like to see councils do an audit of septic systems in rural areas specifically!

This is literally a mini version of a large council owned sewage treatment plant. I built a house on Russell Island in 2012 and after reviewing all the other systems available at the time I installed an Ozzi Kleen. I note the fact that some people here have posted that they're unhappy with the system. I think for the majority of problems posted here it may be attributed to improper use, incorrect maintenance and possibly the use of service techs who may not be great or who do not communicate properly with the home owners. My first issue with the unit was about 6 years in. I had to have the submersible pump replaced but that was due to fusion and nothing to do with the OzziKleen unit itself. Apparently the pumps can last anywhere from 5 to 10 years. The reason I have had no issues is that the service agent over here Craig Patterson from Patteck Pty Ltd has been excellent and very proactive. Always on time with the quarterly services, very reasonable prices for the services and excellent communication. If Craig found any issues with the unit it was communicated to me both on the service report plus verbally. If he found anything wrong such as things put in the system that shouldn't be put in the system he told me straight away. I remember once I was told there were lolly wrappers in the system so I was able to communicate to the tenants that this was a no no. I've had high water alarms and alarms go off at inconvenient times. All alarms were due to issues not related to the OzziKleen itself and I recall Craig going out to check for my tenant my elderly mother after hours and on a public holiday for an alarm and sorting it out even when it was not a fault with the unit and not charging her at all. That is amazing customer service and shows what a lovely human being he is : As you only ever get people complaining about something on these forums I thought I would comment that I am extremely happy with my OzziKleen sewage treatment plant and with the service agent over here. I'm sure that if you have a genuine gripe with the unit that has not been caused by incorrect use of the unit that Ozzi Kleen and/or your service agent will be helpful and bend over backwards to help you : I have now sold my home and it settles on the 4th of December 2023. 11 years on the system is like new and still going strong. I would highly recommend OzziKleen and Craig Patterson. If you have a genuine problem with the unit and I can see from the replies to the complaint posts they will bend over backwards to help, and help train you on the proper use and maintenance of the unit.
My wife and I moved into our newly built house 13 months ago in the Gympie area. The build came with an Ozi Kleen RP10A Waste Water Treatment System. At 10 months we were woken late one evening by the alarm that is installed in the house to notify of a system issue. At this point our scheduled service was 2 months overdue. When I contacted our local service provider to advise that our alarm had sounded and to ask why no one had been out to service our system we were told that it was due to short staffing. Given that additional fees are charged if you chose not to adhere to the recommended scheduling and we weren’t notified that our service would be late we felt this was unsatisfactory. We were advised that a technician would be out in 3 days to service and diagnose the fault. Instructions were given on how to prevent the alarm from continuing to sound which we followed, however the alarm continued every 9 hours. Given that we had a 3 month old baby this was extremely frustrating as the alarm is very loud. When the technician inspected the system, the fault was due to a high water level. This could have been prevented had the company completed the service at the recommended 3 month interval. We were charged an additional labor cost for this issue. Two months go by and the alarm sounds again late at night. I contacted the service company the next morning and a technician was organized for that afternoon. The alarm had sounded due to an issue with the float, no charge was issued. Less than two weeks has passed since and the alarm has gone off again late at night on a Friday. We will need to deal with this until we organize an after hours technician. My wife and I follow the rules of the system to the letter to avoid these disruptions to our baby and for the longevity of our system. Given that the system is just over 1 year old, that we are only a 2 adult 1 child family and we follow the rules of the system it is clear the system isn’t fit for purpose. The fact that the alarm cannot be manually overridden after it’s first sounding is ridiculous, especially considering it can be days before the issue is sorted. Our dealings with the servicing/maintenance scheduler have been disappointing as little empathy or professional courtesy has been shown to us. Upon escalating these issues to upper management we were treated kindly and professionally and the call out fee was waved and as our pump had failed it is being covered under warranty. Although it has been a rough start I feel we have been appropriately accommodated by upper management and hopefully our system will continue to function correctly.
Price and quality go hand in hand but product knowledge, custom service and reliability is what make Ozzi Kleen Waste Water GC stand out above the rest. These guys have got their $h*t sorted. I will be recommending Ozzie Kleen to all my future clients and have no hesitation on using their services again. Thank you.
Sue and the team were great working around our schedule with our renovations and getting council approvals. Sue was very informative on what we needed to make sure we had done on our end which made the whole process a lot easier. Overall service was fantastic. So far, the septic system has worked well.

We have just had an Ozzi Kleen system installed septic conversion. Highly recommend this company! Marc and the team are very efficient and easy to communicate with. The new system runs beautifully, and the installation was professional. I'm enjoying all the extra water on our garden now. The placement of the tank is perfect, and the team worked together to provide us with a great outcome!
Sue Kelly was very helpful throughout the process keeping us updated and informed on the progress of the installation. The whole installation and removal of our previous system was achieved in a timely manner with Daniel and the team working in difficult conditions, with heavy rain. We would recommend Ozzi Kleen to anyone. It was recommended to us by a customer who has had the system for many years with no problems.
