Oz Tenpin Star Bowl Shepparton
The Star Bowl was established in Shepparton in 1963 on the site of the former “Star Theatre”, a local concert and dance hall.
It was officially opened by the then Deputy Prime Minister of Australia, Sir. John McEwen MHR. Former Olympian, sprint star Marlene Matthews, had the honour of bowling the first ball at the official opening on Friday 5th July 1963.
Our 18 lane Tenpin Bowling Centre is situated at 116 Fryers Street in the main CBD of Shepparton. The complex has an arcade of shops consisting of a hairdresser, florist, book shop, corset salon, gifts, ladies wear and a bowling pro shop. There is a free car park at the rear of the Centre and has ample council car parking at both the front and rear entrances.
We have the latest facilities, 18 HPL synthetic lanes, bumper bowling on all lanes, fully computerised scoring, licensed café, video games, pool tables, glow lighting and lots more.
The Star Bowl offers league bowling for all ages from Monday to Saturday plus a comprehensive pro shop service with a good supply of balls, bags and shoes always available.
Social and corporate groups have the option of a night of bowling fun or a complete package including a meal in our licensed Cafe.
