Everything about our stay was FANTASTIC. Rohit kindly allowed us to access the room early after our flight arrived early. We were also able to have a later checkout no cost. The very friendly Patrick and Rohit were so lovely. There was a thoughtful treat in the room for my son’s birthday and the room view was superb. We loved the use of the gym next door and went twice - fabulous place and we even played tennis on the memorial drive - what a memory. My only advice is to book your table for brekkie so you overlook the footy ground we didn’t know to do this / our table was great but we would have loved the view. Food at bespoke was delicious and lovely to have a welcome drink included. We had such a lovely time - thank you so much
nnWe recently stayed at Adelaide Oval with my mum for her birthday and had such a great experience. The rooms were beautiful, very clean and comfortable, and the showers were amazing!nnThe location is fantastic and so central to everything, which made getting around Adelaide really easy. All of the staff we dealt with were incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout our stay.nnWe really enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again. Highly recommend!
We decided to treat ourselves on the last night of our Adelaide and wine regions holiday and so glad we chose The Oval it’s fantastic in every respect, literally 5 star.nWe had the Iconic deal with accomodation, 3 course meal, drink on arrival, bottle of local Shiraz, late checkout and parking, which is excellent value for a hotel and restaurant at this level.nThe hotel is beautiful as are the rooms which are luxury, high quality and classy but also very modern. Loved the room control touch screen on an iPad you can walk around with controlled curtains which you can remotely open on waking to see the lovely Adelaide garden view.nThe restaurant is amazing overlooking the ground itself which is lit at night, and with an outside patio area at the top of the first tier. It’s fine dining but with a warm, welcoming and friendly atmosphere and the food is amazing. No problem taking desert from your table into the open bar area to watch the end of the footy on the tasteful, full wall, big screen. Make sure you book as it’s very popular of course and books out.nStaff are fantastic and make you feel as if nothing is too much trouble to make your stay unforgettable.nSo cool staying inside the Adelaide Oval, if you’re an AFL or Cricket fan you must stay at The Oval. Oh and do the Adelaide Oval tour to fully immerse yourself it’s great and you can brag about where you’re staying!
We booked the Iconic Stay package for Saturday, 4 July, and unfortunately our experience was very disappointing.nnUpon arrival, two staff members were chatting behind the reception partition. We stood waiting to check in until another staff member from behind the bar came over to let them know we were there.nWe paid for a cheese platter on arrival, however we waited almost an hour for it to be served.nnThe three-course dinner was included in the package. The entrée was lovely, but after ordering the steak for our main course, we were informed that the sides were an additional charge. We found this very surprising, especially given that it was advertised as a three-course meal.nThe following morning, our breakfast was delivered cold.nWe booked this stay based on the advertised package price of $448.76, but by the end of our one-night stay we had spent approximately $650.nnAs we rarely get the opportunity to enjoy a night away together, this experience was extremely disappointing. Sadly, based on our experience, we would not recommend this stay.
Everything was fantastic......But please do away with the pod coffee machines! Absolute luke warm dish water! Nothing beats a hot moccona coffee! Or offer both but the taste of the pods was awful. Lost 1 star for me as nothing better than having a hot coffee in bed when you wake up. Husband tipped his x 2 down the sink after tasting 2 different ones. Loved everything else.
