Researched a few larger brand caravan manufacturers before we met Sam at Our Van RV. Sam walked us through the Momentum caravan which we found to be the best quality and well appointed van we visited on the market.nWe have just taken delivery of our new Momentum Shift 20.6 caravan. I am a very fussy tradesman and have inspected every inch of the van l cannot fault one thing on the van. To say we are delighted with the van is an understatement.nWe can highly recommend Sam and the team at Our Van RV you wont be disappointed.
From start to finish, the team delivered an amazing experience—friendly, professional, and genuinely passionate about what they do. I scored an absolute deal on my new caravan, and the full walk-through and handover on pick-up day made the whole process feel even more special. It felt like the perfect send-off for the many adventures to come. Tim and the entire crew were a pleasure to deal with—clear, helpful, and patient with all my questions. Thanks again for setting me up for the journey of a lifetime!
After sales service is horrendous. Purchased, purpose built, brand new 19' 6 Atlantic Endeavour van in January 2024 from ouRVan. Delivery coordinator, Bridget, was great to deal with and very helpful and we picked up the van in June 2024. The pre-delivery check and inspection the day we picked up the van seemed very thorough at the time. However from there we have had issues. It was never picked up that our lithium battery was set in the control panel to 10 amp hours and not 110 amp hours. It was also not picked up that our solar panel was never connected properly. It was only when free camping in 40 degrees over the Australia Day weekend that we realized we weren't recharging. Tim from ouRVan wanted us to take the van back to Rosebud to be looked at rather than us getting a local qualified repairer to check it out. We live in Geelong, so it's a 7 - 8 hour round trip just to drop it off. Local repairer found that the solar had never been connected properly and he rectified the issue there and then, a cost of $247. OuRVan refused to refund our out of pocket claiming it was Atlantic's problem not theirs. Atlantic don't exist anymore. We earlier had a broken clip on our toilet window which Tim claimed for us under warranty. However, when I asked for the replacement parts to be sent to us so I could get it fixed when we were having our van serviced for the 1st time, Tim was put out because he was going to have to pay the postage?? Once you drive out the gate with your new purchase, good luck getting looked after.
Picked up our new van yesterday. Initially dealt with Jackson and worked out what we wanted and main options. A few more visits and locked in the sale. Colour selections with Bridget was easy and has resulted in a van we are very happy with. Bridget was also readily available with updates and amending any changes we wanted before build. Sam was very comprehensive in the handover, taking his time to explain everything and how it works. Very smooth process from start to finish.
Wow folks - I can’t recommend OurRV. I asked them to re-weld the safety chains on my trailer and do some works on the hubs/drums.nnThe trailer came back in dangerous condition. Incorrect studs and wheel nuts had been installed for the rims - common knowledge among mechanics and tyre/wheel businesses that this combo could result in damaged rims and wheels coming off. OurRV didn’t even know studs and wheel nuts came in varying types that weren’t compatible with common alloy Toyota rims. I had to educate them using info on a wheel nuts supplier web site. Oblivious. OurRV then told me to put it on the road and drive it back to them – with the wrong wheel nuts on, that are known to come loose if fitted to incompatible rims – dangerous.nnTook 2 MONTHS and 3 attempts to rectify. Eventually with assistance from a different RV repairer I put them onto OurRV was told what they needed. I couldn’t work it out for themselves . The parts were the same as parts Carac ID’d in the first place 2 months prior!nnMeanwhile, OurRV attempted to get replacement rims for those that had been affected by the incorrect studs and nuts. They got that wrong - couldn’t even match the two replacements to the common style of the set of 4 they came from. Tried to send me off with mismatched rims. Then they tried to replace them with an older design set of rims from an OurRV staff members wife’s car!nnWhat about the safety chain re-weld? That was a shocker. A qualified welder looked at it and commented “No way there terrible , cold lapped and full of porosity, Definitely not safe”. When I went back to have it fixed OurRV service manager commented that their welder isn’t qualified and that it’s the best they could do!SAFETY chains! Unqualified welder!nnUPDATE - and no, not once was I rude to the reception staff, or even the service manager. The service manager hated the fact that I wouldn't just roll over and he yelled down the phone rather than accept responsibility. To the extent that the reception staff noted that they could hear him yelling through the office wall and apologised for him.
