Throwback to last weekends brunch, 3rd time eating here, and we always opt to sit outside as it has room for the kids to muck around. Requested a towel to wipe down the tables as they were wet, but waitress serving wasn’t really keen on helping as the tea towel she had was already soaked and getting another one was too inconvenient?nnAfter being dismissed we managed to squeeze onto the long bench that was dry.nnFood was good, service was quick. Other than the initial seating part .. the rest of our dining experience was enjoyable.

I’m not one to write reviews usually but I had to!nBlown away with the service, good & vibe of the place.nMy husband and I just moved to the area & are trying to find our new local for coffee/brunch.nThe attention to detail from the moment you walk in was obvious.nYou can tell the staff love working there & are treated well that showed in there smiles & greetings.nWe were offered a table right away and sat down I went to stand up to order like a normal cafe & the lady was there for table service, such a small detail but different to other places so was noted & felt special. Little detail you don’t get everywhere. Food was amazing so yum & not to mention was a busy Saturday morning and our food came out in 5 mins so so fresh couldn’t tell it wasn’t pre done either

Awesome suburban eatery.nThey were almost closing, welcomed me in. Got 2 focaccia’s vegan and salami, equally as delicious as each other! Fresh, great ingredients, good flavours. Bought 2 cute drinks, very tasty. And a treat. Loved, will definitely visit again… already craving!nOh, and the word on the street is that ‘Roy’ is the owners grandpa.

Second time here and as someone who eats out a few times a week, it's maybe only a few times a year that you find hospo staff that embody the word service and remind you how every interaction at a restaurant or cafe should be like. Ali knocks it out of the park with her friendly, solicitous and engaging nature.

Went for breakfast this morning after a bit of a break between visits. Food was great - actually, the best I've had at Our Boy Roy - however, the coffee was not great  I was surprised given they serve Single O, however this was just not doing the product justice. It felt like an Italian style roast which I wasn't expecting, and left a bitter aftertaste. Single O are an outstanding Sydney roastery and this unfortunately just didn't resemble what I would expect from a cup of their brew... I even have suspicions it may not have been Single O running through the machine today it was that off.nnThat said, regardless we had a lovely time and the rosé spritzs we enjoyed with our breakfast were excellent.
